The reply P 328a OV 3/1/2 dated 29-May 1742, is from Boxwell and Leigherton in Gloucestershire, stating that John Carodines and Ann his wife are our parishioners, and agree to reimburse the Tetbury Overseers if they should become a charge on the town.

Influential citizens held a meeting to consider what to do about the state of the old church attended by John Barrett, Henry Crowther, Daniel Evans, Richard Harding, John Johnson, Thomas Keen, John Phillips, John Purnell, Francis Savage, John Sloper, William Tomkinson, Barnard Wickes, Joseph Wickes, John Wight, Henry Wightwick
The matter went to Parliament who suggested repairs and on 10 Feb 1740 charged Thomas Estcourt, Richard Harding, Joseph Ralph, Charles Savage and William Savage with overseeing the work.
After spending money doing doubtful repairs, the Old Church was demolished and rebuilt to be opened in 1770

Elizabeth Keen born Aug 1734 - 17800413, married 17530714 to John Cleaver. They baptised Bartholomew 17540603 who died of Small Pox buried 17610424, and John 17551225. The Parish buried John 17871009.

John Keen 16930730, a Presbyterian, son of Richard and Mary at Stow On The Wold, married Elizabeth Sartin 17230721, who was buried 17570519, the Shoemaker's wife.

Mary Keene 1740 married 17631212 to Nathaniel Lenard 1737, and she was buried 17641219.

Thomas Keen 1674 - 17320829 aged 58 and his widow Ann 1687 - 17461111 aged 59, baptised Hannah 17091009 lived 16 days, and Elizabeth 17170422.

Elizabeth Kimberley 17040329 - 17700803, aged 65 daughter of John, married 17420726 to Charles Townsend. Her son Charles 17450514 - 17570811 lived 12 years.

Ephraim Kimberly was baptised 17091123, and appears to be the last survivor in my study time, he does not appear to marry, and was buried 17660213 aged 55.

Jane Kimberley, a Presbyterian, was buried 17411012. Jonathan Kimberley was buried 17260627. The two children living with her may be John's daughters, Elizabeth and Mary.
