John Cooke and Elizabeth his wife agreed to take Daniel Scott als Witts, a poor child of Tetbury, as Apprentice to learn Worsted Combing and were paid 4 pounds, money given by his reputed father Daniel Scott, reference P328a OV 4/2 dated 5-Mar 1700

This change from the Workhouse appears to have begun about July 1758, which stopped recording resident's names, and Elizabeth Holt's expenses, in July 1755.

Alice Cope the relict swore the estate was valued less than 300 pounds
All my estate I give to my beloved wife ALice (in case she remains a widow during the time before my first surviving child reaches the age of 21 years) in Trust for her own use and the benefit of my children William, George, Edward Walter and Jane, that is to say for the maintenance, education, apprenticing or otherwise bringing up my children.
Also I give and bequeath to my said wife Alice for the term of her natural life in case she remains a widow 20 pounds a year chargeable on my estate
I appoint as Trustees my brother in law Stephen Jones and George White Gent both of Tetbury to see to the execution of this my Will. I appoint my wife Alice sole executrix.
