    They cannot be left behind in Birmingham!

    Certainly, TEAM NETS CATERING in Birmingham, United Kingdom was another scene stealer in their Isport BOTAK uniform. The team was also nominated for Best in Uniform sponsored by NETS CATERING and PNB Europe.

    As of this writing, Team Nets Catering is displaying their fighting spirit as they compete against the Coventry Team to make it on the top 3.

    Here, they share with us some moments of the league during the opening day last April 30, 2006 at the Aston University in Birmingham City and see how equally stunning they are!

    Team Nets Catering was organized by its coach, Mr. Bobot Santos in 2003. It was first named, Priory Hospital in 2003, then later became I love this Game in 2004, and eventually the Nets Catering (2005-2006). Along with Mr. Santos, the team was formed with the help of Mr. Cesar Sanchez, Mr. George Carreon and Mr. Zaldy and Ms. Net Lim (who have been the managers of the team).

    Nets Catering is the catering business of the Lim family. It also serves as an advertiser for the Priory Hospital Filipino Community.

    A successful partnership is built between the team and the sponsoring Nets Catering. As Mr. Santos puts it, “since we have used Nets Catering for the name of the team, their business became well-known to whole Birmingham and in the entire basketball tournament. Its popularity is not only confined in Birmingham, but also reaches to the West Midlands County as well.”

    He adds, “the Santos, the Lim, the Sanchez and the Carreon families are very close friends. That’s why we encouraged Nenet Lim to use their business name as our team name. It’s a way of promotion for their business as well. And there it was, the start of their business and the Nets Catering Basketball Team.”
