Germany is all geared-up for the world�s most celebrated football fever!

It�s the very first time for the Land of Ideas to host the said event after the re-unification of the Eastern and Western states,

But it�s already the second time for Germans to host the Football World Cup, following the 1974 stint.

Furthermore, it�s actually the third time for Germany to host a major international tournament. To recall, the 1988 UEFA European Championships was also staged in Germany.

Still counting? Well, all roads lead to Hamburg, Hanover, Berlin, Gelsenkirchen, Dortmund, Leipzig, Cologne, Frankfurt, Kaiserslautern, Nuremberg, Stuttgart and Munich.

Excitement fever is even more intense with the Football Globe! It�s one representation of Germany�s passion to host the said prestigious event.

The best of the best from the East and West will meet at the Gaming Capital of the World! And take note, bets are not allowed, as required by NBA.

The NBA All-Star Game 2007 officially kicks-off on February 16, at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas Nevada.

The 56th Annual All-Star game sets foot for the first time in a Host City that has no official NBA team (without an NBA franchise).

The league, however, has staged 13 regular-season games in Vegas since the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz first played in November 1983. But of course, it�s a totally different thing now. Vegas will be hosting the entire league.

Also, the Host City has been preparing for a week-long festivities that will feature the All-Star Competitions, the Shooting Stars, the Skills Challenge, the Three-Point Shootout and the classic Slam Dunk.

The question is, will this hosting lead to an official NBA Team? As comedianne Rita Rudner puts it, she has suggested a name for the team, what about the Las Vegas Strippers? : )
