BOBA FETT'S ARMOR        The following is a listing of the different armors that the Mandalors wore:    MANDALORIAN LIGHT 'SCOUT' ARMOR The 'light suit' covered only the head, torso, and arms. The armor is heavy but it gave protection roughly equal to stormtrooper armor. This suit coontains a short range, 25 meters, defensive laser and a flame projector. The armor contains light weight sensors and a broadband transceiver. It is believed that Jodo Kast's suit is a modified type of this armor. This armor was issued to members of training cadres, vehicle and starship crews, and non-combat support units. Personal equipment to be carried with this armor would normally consist of a survival kit, a blaster pistol, and a knife.   MANDALORIAN STANDARD 'TROOPER' ARMOR This armor expanded on the 'Light Scout Armor'. Having 50% greater armor than the 'Light Armor', this suit contained a basic jump pack - except for shipboard personel, a second arm laser, more powerful sensors, and an atmospheric filter. The 'Trooper Armor' was commonly worn wiith a light enviromental or climate control suit for ground operations or a light vac suit for boarding operations. Worn by almost everyone in the Mandalorian legions, the 'Trooper Armor' provided a great deal of protection and a large quantity of firepower. This armor was issued to line troopers, junior NCOs, officers reguardless of their unit, and starship command crews. Normal equipment to be carried with this armor would be all the equipment of a probationary trooper, as well as grenades, a blaster rifle, and a variety of weapons.   MANDALORIAN HEAVY 'COMMANDO' ARMOR Twice as strong as the 'Light Armor', and more than twice as heavily armed, these suits were exspensive to make. Today, the few remaining suits would sell for as much as an Imperial Star Destroyer. The suit contained a very fine jetpack, a vertically fired grenade launcher, several wrist lasers, a flame projector, a turbo projected grapple with a winch, IR and motion sensors, a macrobinocular viewplate, a sensor package, a broadband antenna, and an enviromental filter with a two hour air supply. A modified version of this suit is the one Boba Fett uses. Fett's armor is blue in color and his helmet has a crimson red stripe running along the black visor while Jodo Kast has a bright orange stripe around his visor. No reason for the difference in colors is know. Many believe that they indicate a certain rank while others believe that they are simply to distinguish one Commando from another. Made for the Mandalorians' best troops, these suits were issued to senior NCOs and officers, commandos, snipers, and recon troopers. The Mandalor Super Commandos were considered among the best troops ever, often compared to Emperor Palpatine's Royal Guard. Normal equipment to be carried with this armor was whatever the mission called for and was available.   MANDALORIAN POWERED 'ENGINEER' ARMOR This suit covers the entire body. Many of the sensors came from the 'Heavy Suit', while the weapon systems came from the 'Scout Suit'. These suits also included high-intensity work lights mounted on each shoulder, a servo-system, a cutting/welding laser, and a climate control body suit. The suit included all of the systems of the 'Heavy Suit', though it only had one wrist laser and a flame projector. This is the least well known of the Mandalorian suits of armor, because it had the lowest production run. Meant for combat engineers, limited issue heavy weapons units, and elite commando units, These troops had to be at least as good as a fully trained Mandalor warrior, but they also had to know how to fix and use almost any piece of equipment on the battlefield, how to build fortifications, prepare landing sights, and handle explosives. These troops were consider some of the best rounded troops of the Mandalorians.   MANDALORIAN 'BOARDING' ARMOR This suit of armor is believed to have been in the final stages of evaluation at the time of the Order's destruction. These suits were based on the 'Engineer's Armor'. Carrying a powerful sensor suit, thrusters, and heavy weapons, this suit would have been effective for space boarding. The suits' arsenal includes multiple wrist lasers, 2 homing mini-missiles, a cutting laser, a turbo-projected grapple and winch, high intensity worklights, and an enviromental system to provide air, power, and climate control for five hours. These suits were reserved for special missions only.   Tobbi Dala, Fenn Shysa, Jodo Kast, Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Boba Fett are the only ones 'known' to have worn Mandalorian battle armor. According to Marvel Comics, Fenn Shysa, Tobbi Dala and Boba Fett were the only three survivors of the 200-man Mandalorian commando squad that fought in the Clone Wars. Fett went off and became a Bounty Hunter, while Fenn Shysa and Tobbi Dala had returned to Mandalore to fight a revolution or something.   FETT'S EARLY YEARS AFTER THE BATTLE OF YAVIN AFTER THE BATTLE OF HOTH AFTER THE BATTLE OF ENDOR FETT'S ARMOR SLAVE I AND SLAVE II
