There is someone inpersonating the Lord Darth Vader in the Outer Rim. This person, whom is currently unknown, wears the black robe and mask of Vader. This person, who is always seen with four Stormtrooper-dressed people, targets merchants and 'inferior species' for credits and slavery in the name of Vader.

Beru Lars

Although it was orginally believed that both Owen and Beru Lars were killed at their homestead on Tatoonie by Stormtroopers, it is now know that this information is false. The charred bodies Luke Skywalker saw at the Homestead were actually a homeless couple from Anchorhead. On direct order of the Emperor, Owen and Beru were taken to the Imperial prison on Correst. After serving time for four years, the two managed to escape aboard a supply shuttle. Owen was later picked up on the planet Corellia and taken back to Correst. Beru was last seen on the planet Kashyyyk. Although it is unknown of the exact interest that Palpatine has in the couple, the Imperial Press did release this statement:
Owen and Beru Lars are wanted for high treason against the Empire. All other information about the couple is classified.
