BOBA FETT   AFTER THE BATTLE OF ENDOR Since the Alliance had confiscated the Slave I, Boba Fett and Dengar set off in Dengar's ship for the spaceport moon of Nar Shaddaa, the smuggling center of the galaxy. Fett had a backup ship on Nar Shaddaa: The Slave II was a MandalMotors Pursuer enforcement ship, and few sentients in the galaxy even knew that Fett had one. The Hunter used this to his advantage, knocking out old enemies who thought him dead, and collecting Bounties quickly, sometimes working with teaming up with Dengar. Meanwhile, the Alliance let the Slave I sit on Grakouine, gathering dust. Wary of another encounter with Solo and Skywalker, Fett decided to buy his ship back legally. With the help of an old employer, Crystalboy, he used a system of dummy corporations, paper trails, and forged requisition forms, eventually getting the Slave I as part of a "surplus liquidation" deal. Fett repaired his ship and put it in orbit of Nar Shaddaa. He would use it again, but for now, he was profiting more from the anonymity the Slave II and his "death" had given him. While the galaxy assumed that the renowned Boba Fett was dead, a Bounty Hunter named Jodo Kast donned a suit of Mandolarian Armor and masqueraded as the Fett to get higher bounties. Prowling the Outer Rim Territories, Kast wore armor with much of the same external weaponry that Fett utilizes. It is unlikely, however, that he had much hidden weaponry and modified circuitry in his suit. When Fett found out about this, he tracked Kast to Nal Hutta (Nal Hutta translated means "Glorious Jewel"), Homeworld of the Hutts, and quickly put an end to the impostor's ruse and his life.  When he captured an infamous pirate, Feldrall Okor, Fett took a 'page' from the plan Princess Leia had used when she infiltrated Jabba's palace. When Fett presented Feldrall to Imperial Governor Isis, she balked at his Bounty price, so Fett pulled out a charged thermal detonator. As tense seconds ticked by, the Governor argued, while Fett calmly upped his price. Ultimately, the Governor trusted her fortunes more than she trusted Fett's sanity, and she gave the Hunter his ransom. While delivering a Bounty named Tsumoi to Corellia, Fett intercepted a distress transmission from the ship Mingula, a ZZ class freighter. Forcing Tsumoi to go with him, Fett boarded the presumed empty ship in hopes of salvaging it for many credits. While searching the cargo hold, Boba Fett discovered the death casket of Volpau, the third cousin of Emperor Palpatine. While the Fett was distracted, Tsumoi found a blaster and attempted to shoot Fett. Fett beat him to the draw and wounded his captive. Suddenly, a swarm of Ubuugan Fleshborer parasitic winged worms flew out of the casket, and Tsumoi was soon dead. Fett's armor protected him for a moment, but he quickly discovered that they secreted a corrosive. Fleeing to the Slave I, he set himself ablaze with his flame-thrower, effectively destroying the deadly pests and his coveted salvage prize at the same time. Fett continued to work for the relatives of the late Jabba. Gorga the Hutt was smitten by Anachro, the daughter of Orko the H'unn. Gorga knew that Orko despised him, so he wanted to hire Boba Fett to track down and kill the pirate Bar-Kooda, who had destroyed three of Orko's trading ships. Gorga hoped that this gesture would appease Anachro's father enough to allow the two love-stricken Hutts to marry. At the time Boba Fett was busy capturing Magwit, a dwarf who was known as the Magician. Magwit's most famous trick involved a "magic" hoop through which objects would appear and disappear. Magwit was performing in small frontier settlements in the wasteland. Magwit only had a minor Imperial Bounty on his head but Fett knew Magwit could help him in catching Bar-Kooda. When Magwit heard Boba Fett was near, he feigned his own death to escape, by taking a drug to simulate death. At his funeral, Fett arrived and administered a drug to counteract the one Magwit had taken. Fett formulated a plan involving the Magician, who had once been a captive on Bar-Kooda's ship, Bloodstar. The pirate was known for holding entertainers captive, making them perform for him, and then eating them afterwards. Fett forced Magwit to buy his freedom by smuggling the Hunter in his magic props. Fett promised Magwit his freedom in exchange for returning to Bar-Kooda. Magwit was "captured" and taken aboard Bar-Kooda's ship, Bloodstar. The Magician performed his hoop trick, inviting Bar-Kooda to step through to discover its secret. The hoop was connected to a short-range matter transmitter, with Fett waiting on the other side. When the pirate stuck his head through, Boba Fett pulled Bar-Kooda through the hoop. A fierce battle ensued and Fett killed Bar-Kooda. True to his word, Fett gave Magwit his freedom. Gorga held a feast for Anchro and her father. The main course sealed the marriage bargain. It was barbecued Bar-Kooda. Upon hearing of his brother's death, Ry-Kooda swore vengeance on Boba Fett and Gorga. Ry-Kooda kidnapped Anchro, but Fett found his gang's hideout and managed to rescue her. Anchro The Hutt swung from a rope attached to Fett's speeder bike. Ry-Kooda's thugs pursued them to a cavern mine, where Fett dropped Anchro into a mine vehicle, which he jumped into and piloted. Ry-Kooda eventually caught Fett, but Fett fired a concussion grenade into the cavern roof, which fell on Ry-Kooda, effectively burying him beneath a ton of debris. Soon, Gorga grew tired of Orko the H'unn, now his father-in-law, and decided to have him killed. Gorga summoned Boba Fett but the Bounty Hunter told him that such an extermination would bring grave consequences. Fett demanded a half million credits for the deed, fifty thousand in advance. Gorga reluctantly agreed. Meantime, Anchro told Gorga she was with Huttlet, a doctor for the Hutts. The doctor warned Gorga that anything upsetting might harm Anchro or his unborn child. Immediately, Gorga told one of his underlings to try and stop Fett before he carried out Orko's murder. But Boba Fett was already carrying out his plan. He broke into Orko's palace, and convinced the older Hutt that an unnamed Bounty Hunter was out to murder him, but Fett could buy the Hunter off for six hundred thousand credits. A frightened Orko agreed to pay the credits the next morning. Fett passed the night in the cantina thinking about the credits he would extract from the Hutts with his cleaver ploy, but in the morning Fett found out Orko had been murdered. Not only was Orko dead but he was also half-eaten. Following the clues, Fett determined that only Ry-Kooda could have committed the foul murder. Sure enough, Ry-Kooda once again tried to capture Anchro. Fett arrived on the scene, and the two again fought a deadly battle. Fett ignited a barrel of toxic waste, and Ry-Kooda was consumed in a fiery inferno.   FETT'S LATER YEARS Six years after the death of Jabba the Hutt, Han and Leia went to Nar Shaddaa, the galactic smuggling center, on a spaceport moon. There, Han was surprised to find that Fett and Dengar were waiting for him in his quarters. Fett told Solo that the Sarlacc had found him "somewhat indigestible," adding that the descendants of Jabba the Hutt wanted Han and Leia, dead or alive. In a hail of blaster fire, Leia and Han escaped in Salla Zend's Starlight Intruder. Fett and Dengar followed in the Slave II, snatching the Intruder's coordinates and jumping into hyperspace. Slave II arrived at Byss before the Starlight Intruder, but only Salla's ship had been cleared to get through the planetary security shields. The shields closed upon the Slave II's appoach, locking out Fett's ship and breaking off a control rudder. As they spun away, trying to regain control of the ship, Dengar angrily informed Fett this was the last time he'd ever work with him.  Various reports say Dengar has stated 'that he will never work with Fett again' to Boba Fett almost everytime they team up. When Han and Leia again returned to Nar Shaddaa seeking the Jedi Master Vima-Da-Boda, they were afraid Fett might be lying in wait. But Fett was busying trying to escape from two Imperial Dark Side Warriors who were trying to blackmail him into working for them. They claimed knowledge of his past--that he had been a stormtrooper who had murdered a superior officer. Fett rejected their attempts and fought back as the two Warriors attacked him. Fett managed to escape even as Solo's Millennium Falcon prepared to touch down. Boba Fett then waited patiently, and when the Millennium Falcon took off from the planet, the Slave I rushed forward at topspeed. Fett expected Han to turn tail, but Han used the freighter to clip the Slave I's stabilizers. Fett lost some control but he was still able to blast the Falcon, causing the Falcon to lose all sensor frequencies. Fett tracked the Falcon to the lower levels of the moon, where he ambushed Leia and Han shortly after they found Vima-Da-Boda. In turn, Fett was ambushed by Chewbacca. During the ensuing firefight, Boba Fett shot Chewbacca in the side, but the Wookiee managed to rip off Boba's helmet and send him spiraling into the roof high above. Fett recovered quickly enough to board the Slave I and pursued the Falcon through the floating space debris of the spaceport moon. He blasted the Rebels' ship once again, but Solo piloted the freighter into an interstellar gas cloud. Fett's ship sensors were useless, so Fett waited several days until the Falcon reemerged. But, unfortunately for Fett, Solo had beefed up his firepower and got the drop on Fett. Solo fired on the Slave I and sent the Bounty Hunter spinning out of control into the gas cloud.   Throughout his career, Fett has worked as a mercenary, a soldier, a personal guard, an assassin, and the most notorious and fearsome Bounty Hunter in the galaxy. Fett has worked for Jabba the Hutt and other of the Hutt clan, various private 'organizations', and for the Empire. Boba Fett has also crossed paths with the Rebellion's greatest heroes more than a few times over the years. Fett collected 150,00 credits for the capture of pirate Feldrall Okor, and took 500,000 credits when he caught the religious Ffib heretic Nivek'Yppiks for the Lohrans. Boba Fett holds several records for Bounties. First, Fett is the only person to be paid twice for the same bounty. He was paid for capturing Han Solo by Darth Vader, then he was paid for Han Solo by Jabba the Hutt. Second, Fett holds the record for the largest Bounty ever: 5 million credits. That was paid for collecting the Devaronian Butcher Kardue'sai Malloc.  Since Boba Fett is the best he's also the most expensive Bounty Hunter in the known systems. His price range normal runs anywhere from 150,000 credits to 500,000 credits.
