I was VERY impressed with John Kerry's discussion during the presidential debate...and equally unimpressed with Bush's argument. After watching this, I'm 100% sure I'm going to vote. I was very impressed with Kerry's overall appearance...and although he just doesn't seem to have the face of a president, he did carry himself very well. At one point in the debate, Hans held up a $20 bill up to the TV, and there was a striking resemblance between Kerry's and Jackson's LONG face...so I guess I could kind of see Kerry as a president.
Here's my true and honest opinion (if you are Christian and may be stumbled by my words, I truly apologize)...but Bush is a @$^#@$% MORON. I voted for Bush because I valued his morals, and I was partially disgusted by Al Gores affiliation with Clinton (seen largely as a good but immoral president). But Bush has single-handedly brought this country from being the most respected country in the world to being the least respected country in the world. To be honest, because of Bush, I'm embarrassed to be an American. Not to mention I fear for my safety because I'm American. Just ask Paul Johnson (a Lockheed Martin engineer). Oh wait, you can't, because HE'S DEAD!!! At least I can take comfort in the fact that I look Korean, and those damn terrorists wouldn't look for a Korean. Just ask Kim Sun-Il. Oh wait. You can't because HE'S DEAD TOO!!! Damn Bush. Go Kerry.

This is just amazing... Chicken Fight Escalates To Gunfire Hmmm...aside from that I really don't have anything to say today. I went into work around 11am. It's 8:30pm right now and I'm about to leave work now. So anyway, the dream I had the other day was a result of me watching one of those wildest police video shows just before going to bed.

So today I was really disappointed. I was really looking forward to celebrating Chu-sok with friends, but the remnants of Hurricane Jeanne dampered our plans to meet up. It rained cats and dogs in Philadelphia, even though I didn't see a lot of rain NJ. So we cancelled our dinner celebration. So instead, after work I went to the liquor store and picked up some Mak-geul-ri (Korean rice wine), and went to Han-ah-reum to pick up some sung-pyun (sweet rice cake) and celebrated Chu-sok alone. I'm so bummed, because Chu-sok is the biggest holiday in Korea, and I wanted to celebrate too. Oh well...there is always next year.
Man...I love it when I sleep and I have these really vivid dreams. It was vivid when I woke up, but that was like early in the morning so I went back to sleep and had some more dreams...so I've forgetten a few details. I was dreaming that I was at this girls place. I forget why, but she's like a friend of my friends or something. I noticed she was wearing a (removable) cast and had some bruises. She told me she was in some kind of accident. So anyway we had to leave for some reason and we got into a van. We were being driven and at one point, we pull off to the side of the road.
Some other cars are pulled off to the side of the road, and we could tell that it was going to create a problem. I tell her to put on her removable cast that we need to leave the area (we are now driving the vehicle), otherwise we are going to get rear-ended. She puts her vest-like cast back on and we start driving down the road. As we are driving on this ramp, I notice the arrow pointing in the opposite direction. I quickly tell the girl that I think we are driving in the wrong way...and just then a car comes flying around the corner of the ramp and BAM. The impact sends both cars flying. It didn't seem like any of us got hurt because we end up driving around looking for the other car...who is now also driving around looking for us. It was a short little car or something. Like a VW cabriolet.
Kind of a strange dream. But do you know why I had this dream? Think of this like a quiz. What did I do the day before which would give me such a dream. The answer will come tomorrow. In the mean time post your guesses in the comment box. By the way if you haven't had a chance to check out The Image Quiz

A co-worker sent me these rather amusing pictures. I thought they were funny. What do you think?
On second thought I guess those weren't that funny huh? I know what will make it funnier. Try clicking on the pictures. Maybe it'll seem more funnier that way. I died laughing at work.
So on Friday just before the retreat, I said if you go to the retreat, you ARE going to meet God. That's how confident I was, and sure enough, I met him there. Funny thing is I guess I never imagine that I'd meet Satan there too. Here is an exerpt from one of my emails. The retreat was absolutely AWESOME for me, despite a little difficulty I had getting there. I think Satan was certainly doing his best to bring me down, and it almost worked. Satan threw up road blocks LITERALLY the road was closed!!! Then he got me lost on detour after detour with poorly placed signs everywhere. Then when I got on the right track he slowed me down IN TRAFFIC. Traffic just came to a DEAD STANDSTILL!!! Then just as I was getting near the area and all I could think about was reaching my destination, I realized I overshot my exit by several miles. Then Pastor Paul called me and did his best to navigate me. He told me to seek directions to the post office which is near the seminary. Im driving through cow country without the slightest clue to where I am. But a beacon of hope appeared as I saw a police station. POLICEMEN can drive the roads in their sleep. I walked in and asked for directions. Luckily it was simple. I hopped back into my car but my headlights would not come on!!! SATAN WAS TRYING TO KEEP ME IN THE DARK!!! I switched my lights on and off several times, I even turned off my car and back on again, and revved my engine to give the battery a bit more of juice!!! However I remember reading somewhere before where a similar situation occurred, and someone left a post saying he should have used his high-beams. My high-beams WORKED!!! PRAISE GOD!!! And so I drove the rest of the way with my high-beams. After the retreat my head-lights turned on without any problems!!! Looking back on this incident, I see how good God was. Certainly all those things happened for a reason, but God safely delivered me. All the signs are right there. Its just a matter of whether I see them or not. And just to add to that. The signs can really be there in plain sight, but you might miss them due to distractions. For example on my way back from the retreat (since I knew Route 73 was closed) I decided to take the turnpike. At a critical interchange (I-476 to I-76) I totally missed the BIG overhead road signs that said "Philadelphia", simply because I wasn't paying attention. Just because I didn't see the road signs there doesn't mean they weren't there. Likewise for anyone who questions God's road signs in their lives, just because they didn't see the GREAT BIG ROAD SIGN, doesn't mean that it wasn't there. While I'm driving up the road of life, Satan can throw in distractions at any time. Like a non-christian, I can rationalize that because I didn't see the road sign, none actually existed!!! But I'd be completely wrong!!! This retreat has been eye-opening and spirit-filling.

This morning I get up, but was dog tired. Left the apartment later than I had planned. With HotPocket in hand, I had just turned onto Route 73, and was driving along, when I see the car next to me pull up, with a driver waving his hand and laughing frantically. It was Pastor Dwight. It was so funny to see him on the road, and we were both going to the same destination. I was happy to see him, but in a hurry to get to church. I was a but surprised he had "kept up" with me. I don't know...I guess the image I have of a pastor is someone who doesn't really go above the speed limit, makes a full and complete stop, looks both ways before proceeding, always signals on a lane change, etc. Which is funny because Pastor Paul's sermon today was about how pastors, and laity are people just like me and you. They aren't super-humans. He even mentioned in his sermon that yeah, even he goes to the bathroom!!! It was pretty hilarious. Pastor Paul also started off his sermon with an illustration about how he spent all of last weekend reinstalling the OS on his computer because it crashed. He had asked me to think of an idea for that illustration. I found a simple picture of the blue screen of death and put that up for a slide...and added the "Windows XP Critical Stop.wav" sound. I guess people laughed initially maybe because of the irony of the situation, but then I displayed the text "Just Kidding" and everyone burst into laughter. I was pretty surprised it worked out a lot better than I thought. After service a bunch of us went out to eat Jja-jang-myun. Then went over to Special Ed's place. Sarah made this spinach dip for bread, and I baked some blueberry muffins at his place. Sujin, Sarah, and I kept making jokes about Ed's kitchen and how clean it was since he never cooks, but we were all so surprised that he had a lot of kitchen supplies we wouldn't think a non-cooker would have. After that I went to John & Esther's place for dinner and a praise team meeting. Here are some pictures from the retreat.
More pictures from the retreat
Currently listening to O Praise Him - David Crowder. I seriously can't get enough of this song right now. When I hear this song, I want to cry out in joy to God. Just got back from the retreat. It was tiring, yet fulfilling. God has filled my cup and it overfloweth. More details will come on how Satan had his hand in at the retreat. I seriously feel like I'm high on Jesus Crack...and I don't want this high to go away. God has blessed me soooooo much... Praise God. Praise God.

PRAISE GOD!!! This is so cool. The book store that has the DVD that I'm looking for with all the MPEG clips is like right down the road from the retreat center (Biblical Seminary). HOW COOL IS THAT? GOD TRULY IS AWESOME!!! If you are going to go to the retreat, prepare to have your socks blown off. You ARE going to meet GOD!!! This retreat is going to be soooo awesome. I can just feel it.
He is Holy! He is Holy! (O Praise Him - David Crowder)
Ughck...So last night I get home from work around 8pm. I wasn't going to let a stupid, stupid show like The Apprentice dictate my schedule, so I stayed at work for as long as I needed to, and drove home as I normally do. Not too fast, not too slow. By the time I got home, I was burning inside to watch The Apprentice, but I slowly and nonchalantly walked into the door and prepared dinner, and calmy sat down to eat my dinner. HEY...if the show, should happen to be on TV, while I'm eating my dinner, who am I to complain? So I watched the Apprentice...but in my defense, it's because my other roommates were watching it at the time...so I don't think I've compromised my beliefs by watching the show. Then I stayed up all night trying to record/convert Worship.net footage fom TV, so I could use it for our retreat today. I'm so psyched about it. We are going to sing this one new song by David Crowder, called "O Praise Him". I can't get that tune out of my mind. So last night I was listening to the song over and over, and also practicing my slide transitions, and trying to think of new neat ideas. I thought of one. While the praise team goes into their musical interlude or solo, instead of clearing out the lyrics, I could display a bible verse or quote. It adds more of a music video feel, and enhances the overall worship experience I think. I'm so psyched. This retreat is going to be so KICK-ASS!!! PRAISE GOD!!! So I finally went to be at 5:30am. Needless to say, I woke up late despite my best efforts to arise at 8am. I guess the human body just isn't designed to NOT sleep. he he he. As a result, I'm going to have to work half a day instead. Actually probably a litte less than half a day...he he he. Yesterday night I was thinking of just skipping work all together, that's how excited I am about this retreat. So I stop by Subways and pick up a foot long Cold Cut Trio. I eat half of my sub and get thirsty. I needed a soda, so I walk upstairs to grab a soda, and them pizzas are looking mighty good, so I grab a slice too. I'm feeling so disgusting right now. Ughck. BUT PRAISE GOD THIS RETREAT IS GOING TO KICK SATAN'S ASS!!!!

Yesterday was a strange day. I woke up at 5:45 in the morning because I had forgotten to record the Worship channel. I wake up occassionally during the night for one reason or another. When I woke up, it occurred to me I forgot to set the recorder on my computer, so I woke up and missed most of the Worhship program. I started to surf the web for neat motion backgrounds that I would be able to use for the upcoming retreat. I kept thinking I need to get back to bed, but by then the light outside was already pretty bright coming through the window. Before I knew it, it was already 9:00. I can't believe I was surfing the web for 3 hours in the morning. I was even watch Christian music videos trying to get ideas for our church. So I left work and stopped by the Christian book store "The Son Shine", and picked up an iWorship DVD, then stopped by the Happy Garden Chinese take-out to pick up some Lo Mein and pork fried rice. Had some dinner and watched HellBoy while doing stuff on the computer. Then put in Memories for Murder to fall asleep to. This morning kind of woke up late, went to work at 11:30. I decided to play a prank on one of my co-workers. I saw him rounding the corner so I went into his cube and crawled under his desk. As he talked in I grabbed his leg and scared the ba-jesus out of him. How do I know? Because he cried out "Jesus Christ". You could hear other co-workers in the cubes next to him started to giggle. I guess I got him pretty good. I saw a picture of this somewhere, but the next prank I want to pull is blowing up a ton of balloons and filling someones cube with them. Only bad part is that since I work in a closed area, we aren't allowed to bring any kind of recording devices into work. I've seen cubes filled with foam peanuts, and cars filled with ping pongs before, but that's pretty expensive I think. Balloons are cheap and easy to clean. I must do that some day.

Finally the stupid people that run Philadelphia have smartened up. After 9/11 the police started to chase EVERYONE away from the airport's curb-side terminals. Then with nowhere to go, and nowhere to wait, people started to park on the access roads leading up to the airport. This has especially been a big problem at Philadelphia's airport. They have so many policemen there, that literally if you stand idle there for even 10 seconds...THAT'S TEN $^@#$$# SECONDS...THEY HOUND YOU TO GET MOVING!!! Obviously safety isn't the concern because the parking lot for $5/hour just 100 feet away could easily stow cars bombs or suicide bombers. The motivation is MONEY!!! I HATE the way Philadelphia is runned. Mayor John Street is an absolute moron, up their with Bush. ARGH...makes me cringe and my blood pressure shoots up when I think about how idiots like them run our city and country. So anyway the good news is that Philadelphia finally has a free parking/waiting lot. The next time you are at PHL you don't have to wait at the curbside. Read the article
Monday evening I went to Dental Ed's place to watch the Eagles vs. Vikings game. It was a pretty good game, but even better was the fellowship. Everyone was there, and I don't mean as in the whole church...but lots of different kinds of people you wouldn't expect Ed to invite over. It was really cool. Last few days I've been waking up with this painful crick in my neck. I wake up in the morning and have to roll over on my side to get up, as not to use my neck muscles. I'm thinking about bringing my massager to work, but that might be weird. Congratulations Billy and Jin Kwak, for their new baby girl.

Woah...what a day. After church, we had our multimedia committee meeting. Covered a lot of things. After church, I drove back home but hit crazy traffic just after the Ben Franklin Bridge on Jersey side. It's highly unusual for there to be traffic on this stretch of road. Turns out the roadway was flooded and cars were slowly crossing through the farthest left lane. I crossed too, and the water almost came across the top of my hood. I was very scared I was going to get stuck, but didn't. I don't think driving through high water is good for my car though. It took an hour to get home. A few people came over and we had dinner at P.F. Chang's China Bistro. It was everyone's first time, except for me. While waiting 45 minutes to be seated, Yujin said, "It's packed with white people, that's how you know this place sucks"...the assumption being that white people don't know where to go for good chinese food. After dinner they were all pleasantly surprised by the food.
After dinner we all went back to my place and watched the rest of 2009 Lost Memories. Soojung even joined us (who was in the neighborhood visiting her cousin). They all liked the movie.

Tried a new thing for dinner. It was pretty good, at least according to everyone else. I actually thought it wasn't as flavorful as I had expected it to be...but presentation was pretty neat. What do you think? Beef Stew in bread bowls with white/wild rice.
Oooo this is hard. I'm at work right now trying to complete my employee self-assessment form. I'm trying to fluff my self-assessment as much as I can, but I can't think of anything cool to write. Maybe I can say I single-handedly, initiated the need for employee travel qualification requirements, at least the medical aspect of it...he he he
Friday's small group was at Juwon's place. Juwon's place is pretty nice and after the small group left, I helped him set up his DDR, and karaoke machine. Unfortunately I was not able to help him put together his sound system. Following the manual was beyond my level of comprehension. He seemed disappointed that me being an engineer couldn't figure it out. ha ha ha. Oh well. So anyway some of the girls came early and help him cook this Thai style noodle dish with Shrimp, and this meatloaf which was pretty good too. I really like my small group. Our memebers range from the old and sarcastic, like Billy, to the even older, mature and wise, like Mark, to the younger, immature, and not so wise, like myself. ;) The topic of our small group was over 1 Timothy, chapter 1. It was an application to how we as a church need to identify false teachings and how we need to handle such cases. So as we discussed some "false ideas" such as it's a sin for Christians to dance, drink, and smoke. So here we all are having this serious discussion, when Mark interrupts and says, "Dancing is NOT a sin...BAD dancing is." We all just burst into laughter. Another time Mark, almost a bit irritated, questioned what Juwon meant by his constant use of the term "the Word"...which led into another discussion about the Bible and what it means. Juwon at one point says the Bible is like our sword (Eph. 6:17). Otherwise without knowing the Bible, we might be tricked if someone quotes scripture from the book of "1 Billy" or "3 Thessalonians". Again we all just died laughing. That's why I love my small group.

OMG...The Apprentice is now the stupidest show in the world. After watching Trump scold Bradford for making the most IMPULSIVE, STUPID, LIFE-THREATING decision by waiving his exemption...Trump makes the exact impulsive, stupid, life-threating decision by firing Bradford off the show. It made absolutely NOOOOOO sense. I'm seriously mulling over the decision to watch this show next week. I have better things to do than watch stupid TV shows. Should I boycott the show? Anyway yesterday we had our prayer meeting at John and Esther's place. This new guy Mike even showed up. It was pretty cool, and I hope we can continue doing this. "For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." (Matthew 18:20)

My temperature is still fluctuating high and low for some reason. When I get nervous or put under pressure, I start sweat bullets for some weird reason. I mean sweat will DRIP down my face and neck!!! The same thing will happen if I drink something hot or cold. If I drink something cold...naturally I feel cold, but if I drink something hot or warm, I'll begin to sweat like crazy. It's weird. Last night I had a dream about my big toe hurting. When I looked at it, it appeared that something was in it. It was hard to tell what it was. I don't know what it was, but I pulled it out and it was like half the size a marble. Then there was another one, and I pulled that out, so I had the hole in my toe the size of a marble. Also had a dream about getting a new car, but I already kind of forgot about what it was about These HERR'S Kettle cooked Mesquite BBQ flavored potato chips just aren't doing it for me.

This is scary... The United States lost 11 nuclear bombs in accidents during the Cold War that were never recovered, according to the Brookings Institution, a Washington think tank.
An estimated 50 nuclear warheads, most of them from the former Soviet Union, still lie on the bottom of the world's oceans, according to the environmental group Greenpeace. Read more about the lost nuclear bomb
I feel sick. I felt sick yesterday too. Here's what I emailed to a friend yesterday. Weekend was good. I got back today and boy did it hurt. Woke up at 5:30. Dropped of my oldest brother Eugene at Dulles, then sort of got lost while dropping off my parents at Baltimore airport. After work I went straight home to bed...and layed there for pretty much the whole evening. Laying in bed probably made my headache worse, but if I'm not moving it doesn't hurt. I felt nauseous and so I couldn't eat dinner. While brushing my teeth this morning I thought I was going to barf my guts out.

DAMN!!! On my way back home, I ran into one of those orange road cones on the Ben Franklin Bridge. Two of the lanes were closed off for some reason and so they had orange cones running the whole length of the bridge. I was following some cars when all of a sudden I see an orange cone laying right in the middle of my lane. I slam on my brake and swerve off to the right. It's too late though I hit the cone probably at 50 miles per hour and I see a chunk of something fly into the air. I pulled over onto the empty closed lanes on the bridge to inspect my car. I'm expecting to see half of my front bumper to be completely demolished, but to my surprise...nothing seems to really be damaged. I must have traveled a few hundred feet from the point of impact and so I back up to where I think the cone should be...but it's nowhere to be found. I'm thinking the cone must have somehow flew over the medium, and is now laying on the other side of the road. I get back into my car and drive off, only to see the cone laying much further down the bridge. I guess several other people must have hit the cone as well. This kind of sucks, but then again if I can't find a cheap replacement, then I'll buy the more stylish euro style clear lights (~$45) and add some super white or maybe some blue LED turn signals. I can ask my friend if he still has his old stock turn signals...and if he doesn't then I can go on the bboards and ask any members if they have extra turn signals.

Last night, the 2nd season of "The Apprentice" aired. I must say, not bad. I'm not feeling the new contestants, but I'm sure they'll start to grow on me after a few more episodes. I certainly think the challenge was awesome. Design a toy vs. selling lemonade...that's a night and day difference. Looks like my school made it in the news again. Not sure how useful tiny floating robots are though. Water walking robots

For dinner I cooked pork chops. It was LESS THAN half price at ShopRite. Only $1.79/lb. I've never really cooked with pork before, but the recipe I followed today was AWESOME. I made Chinese Barbecue Pork - Char Siew. It was delicious, but best of all, it was EASY to prepare. I think I'm going to go back to the store to buy a TON more pork chops so I can cook this more often. Oh instead of using Boneless Pork Roast, I used Center Cut Pork Chops with the bone, and cooked it like a steak. The recipe for the sauce is awesome. I highly recommend it.
Someone forwarded me this joke. I thought it was pretty funny. The person that forwarded me this joke might find truth to this...I don't. On a recent transatlantic flight, a plane passes through a severe storm. The turbulence is awful, and things go from bad to worse when one wing is struck by lightning.
I think adding a label on top of burned DVD+Rs makes it harder for the DVD player to recognize the DVD. I'm not sure why but it seems as though the DVD+Rs that don't have a label on them don't have a problem playing in my DVD player, and those that do have a label on them sometimes skips during the movie, or the DVD player won't recognize the disc altogether. So last night I "carefully" peeled the label off the DVD+Rs that were skipping, then played them in my DVD player without any problems. So Brian, if you have trouble with any of the DVDs that I gave you, carefully peel the label off. Do it really slow though otherwise you'll peel the data layer right off the disc. Also stopped by Circuit City yesterday to check out the inFocus X1 projector. That sucker is a LOT bigger than I thought it was. After seeing it, I was less convinced I needed it.
Tonight kicks off the season premiere of Joey and the Apprentice. This ought to be interesting.

My beta died over the weekend. It was a very pretty fish, although it didn't really do a whole lot. Oooo...maybe that's why I had a dream about death! Possibly my beta is haunting my dreams because I didn't take good care of it. Possibly I might have overfed the poor sucker.
I'm not sure what to do. Suggestions anyone?
I'm just shaking my head in disgust.
Woah...I had another unusual dream. So the part of the dream I remember was I was on my way back from something, passing through this construction site again. Just as I get to where they are actively doing construction, the construction worker stops traffic in both directions. I'm first in line. I can see the huge construction vehicles moving a ton of earth. One of them moving right toward me. He keeps coming and coming and coming, and I'm about to freak out because it looks like this guy is going to plow right over me. My car would simply be a speed bump to these humongous earth-moving equipment. He stops just a few feet from my car...dumps his load and begins to move back. I'm about ready to be waved through the construction zone when the narrow road beneath begins to give way. The rear of my car starts to slide down the hill, scratch that...I mean ROCKY CLIFF!!!! So anyway my car begins to slide down this rocky cliff. I keep hoping that my car will miss all the big boulders but I know it's only a matter of time as I'm whipping past these boulders bigger than my car. I try to keep the car straight so that if I flip, I flip end over end rather than rolling over side to side. Well needless to say the inevitable happens and my car lays crushed at the bottom of the cliff. Then I remember looking from above my car at the accident scene. I guess I just died, but there was nothing violent about my death. So I'm floating above the accident scene when I see 4 people scaling the rock cliff carrying bags with them. I float on over to them and realize the bags they are throwing around are filled with gold. They scale the cliff on a rope ladder leading into a cave. Inside they shout with glee. One of the girls rips off her clothes and showers. I won't go into details, but let's just say it gets steamy. Hey I'm a guy what else do you expect in a guy's dream!!! Then here is the confusing part. A military officer walks in and reprimands me. Either I'm not a ghost anymore, or he's a ghost too. Or maybe in my dream I just forgot the fact that I was a ghost. Weird huh? Should I be especially freaked out that I died in my dreams? So what does my dream mean? Absolutely nothing. People say dreams is just your mind's mechanism to process or file away the days events or thoughts. The construction zone represents the ongoing road construction near my work place. The excessive attachment to my car is because it just turned 4 years old on Monday. Now that I'm awake I'm scratching my head thinking why the heck didn't I just get out of the car and let it tumble away. I'm not sure why I had to die or what that has to do with anything. The most recent death I know of was one of my co-workers a couple of weeks ago. But the theme of death surrounds us everywhere whether it's the movies we watch or in the news. You literally can't go a day without hearing about a death in the news. The gold represents the Goldschlager that I bought recently that had real gold flakes. The women in the shower...well I must have had some dirty thoughts yesterday or something...he he he. I'm not sure about the military general though...but it could possibly be because yesterday at work I found out one of my co-workers came back from the DDG-93. It was her first experience onboard the ship. She also told me about an accident that happened when they pulled into port. A tugboat rammed the side of the ship leaving a huge dent in the hull at the waterline. I then had a discussion about Navy commanding officers who are relieved of command because of navigational accidents. A while ago I read an article about a slew of Navy commanders who has lost their command due to accidents, including the commander of DDG-91 that I was on.

Had dinner with my former small group. The small group leader stepped down because he's leaving for Seattle. We had a fairwell dinner for him tonight at P.F. Chang's. This place is Mm! Mm! Good! At first I thought it was one of those expensive restaurants, but it's really not that bad...and the food there was really delicious. One caveat. Stay away from their chow-fun. The noodles are undercooked and hard. Even when they replaced the beef chow fun...the noodles still weren't as soft as they should be, but everything else was awesome.
Got into another heated debate with my roommate Paul about the movie Fahrenheit 9/11. It seems as though republicans are rushing too easily to the conclusion that since Michael Moore is a democrat, everything he says is biased. Sorry for the analogy, but sounds a lot like non-christians PASSIONATELY denying the gospel message just because they don't believe in it. Whereas if they actually took the time to research the details and had an open mind, they'd find there is a little bit of truth. I have yet to read the book, but I hear that that is exactly what happened in the book "The Case for Christ". So anyway I'm currently "researching" all those facts, or what others would call "opinions" to formulate my own understanding of the situation. Those who don't want to, are simply making a blind decision. As Senator Charles E. Schumer, Democrat of New York said, "It's almost as if we didn't want to find out..."

Happy Birthday to you,
Today my car turned 4 years old. I was going to give it a birthday present, but I couldn't find a car wash much less baby it with the top of the line treatment. I kind of feel bad that I haven't taken care of my car more. In the last couple of months, I think I have bottomed out my car more times than I have fingers. Usually when I have a full car. My car is taking a beating. Also when I'm shifting into first gear, sometimes I can hear my clutch slipping. I think when I go to Korea I'm going to give my car to my brother Eugene, because he KNOWS how to take care of cars. BTW Eugene, if you are reading this, thanks a MILLION for souping up my car. But because my car is lower, I keep bottoming out though. Then again I have noticed more people looking over when I drive by :D Today, was the Phileo Labor Day picnic. I have to post pictures up on the church website. When I do, I'll add a link. After the picnic, some of the girls came over to the apartment and I was SOOOOOO IMPRESSED by Judy. She took initiative and started to cook. We had this kim-chee pah-jun kind of a thing. I forget what it was called. We also made kim-bap. It was pretty good. I realized that Judy is wife material. A guy should be so lucky to have a girl like her.

Wow...Saturday night was a looooooooooooooong night. First went to Tribecca, where we found out NO ONE was there, so we decided to go to MODA, which was kind of okay, but people weren't dancing, so then we decided to go Five Spot, but there was a super long line, so we decided to go to the place next door, which was called 27 or something like that with a $5 cover. It seemed kind of empty, but after being there for a little while, people started to dance. We then decided to leave back and go to MODA because the last time I was there things didn't pick up until later, however when we got there, it had completely cleared out!!! They started to play some really good music, and so we decided to dance until it closed at 2am. Still not feeling clubbed out, we decided to go back to Tribecca, which is supposed to be an after-hour private club. We waste another $10 to get in the door and find out that not very many people where there at all, but they play some good music and we dance some more there. Before we knew it, they turned on the lights and it was time to leave. It was only like 3:00AM. I felt a little ripped out since they were supposed to be an after-hour club. I guess they really meant after-hour as in just "one hour after". So we leave and decide to get something to eat. We head over to Philly Diner, but just as we sit down we change our minds and decide to get some sul-lung-tang. So we drive all the way to Fifth Street (15-20 minute drive) to Han-Chon, ONLY TO FIND OUT IT WAS CLOSED!!! It's supposed to be a 24 hours place. Not a problem, because there is also another 24-hour Hae-jang-gook place down the road. We end up getting a little bit lost on the way, but we finally make it there, ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT TOO WAS CLOSED!!! We even stop by Music Town (noh-reh-bang place that has a small eating area) but their kitchen was closed too!!! So at this point we are really bummed out...and we decided to drive all the way back to Philly Diner to eat. We felt so stupid coming in the second time around...but the food and service was good. When I got home, it was already getting bright outside. I got a couple hours of sleep before waking up and going back to church. Surprisingly I was able to stay awake throughout most of the day. After service a bunch of us decide to go to Vietnam Palace. It was kind of strange because it was me and Jake (this new guy) and 7 other girls, but it was a lot of fun. On my way home I thought it'd be funny to visit Billy's cousin who works at a smoothie stand part time. She made me a banana-blueberry smoothie which was surprisingly good. Came home and took a much needed nap.

Woke up around 9, but took my time and got into work around noon. Joined my new small group today. I'm in the home bible group.
Uggghh. I'm so sick of reading about copyright stuff. They should just make fair-use apply to everything...he he he.

ha ha ha...this is too funny. I think $200 is too much of a compliment though for Bush. I would imagine a $2 would be more appropriate. ;) I especially like the picket signs on the lawn of the white house. Some read "USA deserves a tax cut", "No more scandals", "We like ice cream", "We like broccoli". I can't make out the other signs. And there is also the oil rig. What's that thing on the opposite side of the oil rig? And on the front side, the seal was replaced with "The right to bear arms". The person that created this no doubt, owns a gun. Above that where it usually says "This note is legal tneder for all debts, public and private", it now says, "This note is moral legal tender to preserve the US constitution". Well at least this guy wasn't trying to pass this off as REAL "federal reserve notes". These are 100% genuine "Moral Reserve Notes". ha ha ha

Went to work at noon today. Got out at 7pm. :) I've been spending a lot of my time lately on the church website. I've regained the desire to work on the dead beast again. I got a call from the pastor last night asking me to please spread the work around. He didn't want me to burn out, but more importantly he wanted me to take the idea of discipleship to my committee, which I must admit I didn't quite get, until he gave me a call in person. Sometimes I'm just that thick-headed. I have actually been struggling with that. Where do I draw the line between getting something done - the way I like it - versus having others do it to nurture a collective effort? Did I mention? I got The Passion of the Christ DVD yesterday. I can't wait until we show it at church. I wish the church was more on board with the idea, than just me though.
