Malcolm Thomas of Hervey Bay Motel set up this site to provide information
about humpback whales and whale watching in Hervey Bay. This site features
heaps of pictures and facts about the humpbacks that visit Hervey Bay yearly.
It includes a special feature on the white humpback "Lotus (H2)" who has
been spotted three times in Hervey Bay. Also, a recent addition to the
page is the "daily whale

Tangalooma Dolphins In Paradise
Resort
Recently revamped, this site features Moreton Island's Tangalooma Wild
Dolphin Resort. Tangalooma has an interesting history in that it was once
an old whaling station. The flensing deck of old now serves as a tennis
court for the resort. Tangalooma is also unique in that it has a pod of
in-shore bottlenose dolphins that come in to take fish and interact with
tourists every night (The new baby of the pod Tangles just celebrated its 2nd birthday on the 20th of September). Tangalooma Resort also offers whale watch cruises
from July to the end of October and is one of the two whale watch operators
in Moreton Bay. Its new look site includes a 3D tour of the resort (really
cool) and a amazing dolphin information section featuring heaps of information
(and pics too). Oh and check out my photos at the photo section while you
are at it.

every Wednesday night during the whale watch season after the financial
news on Seven's Nightly News reporting on whale activity in Moreton Bay.
Kerri also appears frequently on Brownies Coast Watch, also on Seven.
