1 ¶Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering: it is most
holy. 2 In the place where they kill the burnt offering shall they
kill the trespass offering: and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle
round about upon the altar. 3 And he shall offer of it all the fat
thereof; the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards, 4 And
the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks,
and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall
he take away: 5 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar for
an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a trespass offering.
6 Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten
in the holy place: it is most holy. 7 As the sin offering is, so
is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest
that maketh atonement therewith shall have it. 8 And the priest
that offereth any man's burnt offering, even the priest shall have
to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.
9 And all the meat offering that is baken in the oven, and all that
is dressed in the fryingpan, and in the pan, shall be the priest's
that offereth it. 10 And every meat offering, mingled with oil,
and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as much as another.
11 ¶And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which
he shall offer unto the LORD. 12 If he offer it for a thanksgiving,
then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened
cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil,
and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried. 13 Besides the
cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice
of thanksgiving of his peace offerings. 14 And of it he shall offer
one out of the whole oblation for an heave offering unto the LORD,
and it shall be the priest's that sprinkleth the blood of the peace
offerings. 15 And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings
for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered;
he shall not leave any of it until the morning. 16 But if the sacrifice
of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten
the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also
the remainder of it shall be eaten: 17 But the remainder of the
flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.
18 And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings
be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither
shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination,
and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity. 19 And the
flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall
be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall
eat thereof. 20 But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice
of peace offerings, that pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness
upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people. 21 Moreover
the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness
of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and
eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain
unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
22 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 23 Speak unto the children
of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep,
or of goat. 24 And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and
the fat of that which is torn with beasts, may be used in any other
use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it. 25 For whosoever eateth
the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire
unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from
his people. 26 Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether
it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings. 27 Whatsoever
soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall
be cut off from his people. 28 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
29 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that offereth the
sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the LORD shall bring his oblation
unto the LORD of the sacrifice of his peace offerings. 30 His own
hands shall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the fat
with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved
for a wave offering before the LORD. 31 And the priest shall burn
the fat upon the altar: but the breast shall be Aaron's and his
sons'. 32 And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for
an heave offering of the sacrifices of your peace offerings. 33
He among the sons of Aaron, that offereth the blood of the peace
offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part.
34 For the wave breast and the heave shoulder have I taken of the
children of Israel from off the sacrifices of their peace offerings,
and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a
statute for ever from among the children of Israel.
35 ¶This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing
of his sons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the
day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest's
office; 36 Which the LORD commanded to be given them of the children
of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever
throughout their generations. 37 This is the law of the burnt offering,
of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass
offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the
peace offerings; 38 Which the LORD commanded Moses in mount Sinai,
in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their
oblations unto the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai.

1 ¶Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good:
for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 Who can utter the mighty acts
of the LORD? who can shew forth all his praise? 3 Blessed are they
that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy
people: O visit me with thy salvation; 5 That I may see the good
of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation,
that I may glory with thine inheritance.
6 ¶We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity,
we have done wickedly. 7 Our fathers understood not thy wonders
in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but
provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea. 8 Nevertheless he
saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power
to be known. 9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up:
so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness. 10
And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed
them from the hand of the enemy. 11 And the waters covered their
enemies: there was not one of them left. 12 Then believed they his
words; they sang his praise.
13 ¶They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in
the desert. 15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness
into their soul. 16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron
the saint of the LORD. 17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan,
and covered the company of Abiram. 18 And a fire was kindled in
their company; the flame burned up the wicked. 19 They made a calf
in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image. 20 Thus they changed
their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass. 21 They
forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the
Red sea. 23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not
Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his
wrath, lest he should destroy them. 24 Yea, they despised the pleasant
land, they believed not his word: 25 But murmured in their tents,
and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD. 26 Therefore he lifted
up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness: 27
To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them
in the lands. 28 They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and
ate the sacrifices of the dead. 29 Thus they provoked him to anger
with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them. 30 Then
stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was
stayed. 31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto
all generations for evermore. 32 They angered him also at the waters
of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes: 33 Because
they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his
lips.
34 ¶They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded
them: 35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. 37
Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of
their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan:
and the land was polluted with blood. 39 Thus were they defiled
with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people,
insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance. 41 And he gave them
into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over
them. 42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought
into subjection under their hand. 43 Many times did he deliver them;
but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for
their iniquity. 44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when
he heard their cry: 45 And he remembered for them his covenant,
and repented according to the multitude of his mercies. 46 He made
them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
47 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen,
to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.
48 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting:
and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.

Corinthians 15
|
|
1 ¶Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached
unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By
which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto
you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you
first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for
our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried,
and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that,
he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the
greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. 8
And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due
time. 9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to
be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was
bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly
than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye
believed.
12 ¶Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say
some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But
if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your
faith is also vain. 15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of
God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ:
whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16 For if
the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 And if Christ be
not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18 Then
they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19 If
in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most
miserable.
20 ¶But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits
of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came
also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even
so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own
order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's
at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered
up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down
all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till
he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall
be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet.
But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that
he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when
all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself
be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may
be all in all. 29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for
the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized
for the dead? 30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour? 31 I protest
by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus,
what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink;
for to morrow we die. 33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt
good manners. 34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have
not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35 ¶But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with
what body do they come? 36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is
not quickened, except it die: 37 And that which thou sowest, thou
sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance
of wheat, or of some other grain: 38 But God giveth it a body as
it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39 All flesh
is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another
flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. 40 There
are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory
of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon,
and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another
star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is
sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown
in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it
is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a
spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual
body. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living
soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that
was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and
afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth,
earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 48 As is the earthy,
such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such
are they also that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image
of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the
kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 ¶Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we
shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall
be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible
must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and
this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought
to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord
Jesus Christ.
58 ¶Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that
your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
