1 ¶And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall
have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day
of blowing the trumpets unto you. 2 And ye shall offer a burnt offering
for a sweet savour unto the LORD; one young bullock, one ram, and
seven lambs of the first year without blemish: 3 And their meat
offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals for
a bullock, and two tenth deals for a ram, 4 And one tenth deal for
one lamb, throughout the seven lambs: 5 And one kid of the goats
for a sin offering, to make an atonement for you: 6 Beside the burnt
offering of the month, and his meat offering, and the daily burnt
offering, and his meat offering, and their drink offerings, according
unto their manner, for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire
unto the LORD. 7 And ye shall have on the tenth day of this seventh
month an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall
not do any work therein: 8 But ye shall offer a burnt offering unto
the LORD for a sweet savour; one young bullock, one ram, and seven
lambs of the first year; they shall be unto you without blemish:
9 And their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three
tenth deals to a bullock, and two tenth deals to one ram, 10 A several
tenth deal for one lamb, throughout the seven lambs: 11 One kid
of the goats for a sin offering; beside the sin offering of atonement,
and the continual burnt offering, and the meat offering of it, and
their drink offerings.
12 ¶And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have
an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall keep
a feast unto the LORD seven days: 13 And ye shall offer a burnt
offering, a sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD;
thirteen young bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first
year; they shall be without blemish: 14 And their meat offering
shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals unto every
bullock of the thirteen bullocks, two tenth deals to each ram of
the two rams, 15 And a several tenth deal to each lamb of the fourteen
lambs: 16 And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the
continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and his drink offering.
17 And on the second day ye shall offer twelve young bullocks, two
rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without spot: 18 And their
meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the
rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after
the manner: 19 And one kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside
the continual burnt offering, and the meat offering thereof, and
their drink offerings. 20 And on the third day eleven bullocks,
two rams, fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish; 21 And
their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks,
for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number,
after the manner: 22 And one goat for a sin offering; beside the
continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, and his drink offering.
23 And on the fourth day ten bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs
of the first year without blemish: 24 Their meat offering and their
drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs,
shall be according to their number, after the manner: 25 And one
kid of the goats for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt
offering, his meat offering, and his drink offering. 26 And on the
fifth day nine bullocks, two rams, and fourteen lambs of the first
year without spot: 27 And their meat offering and their drink offerings
for the bullocks, for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according
to their number, after the manner: 28 And one goat for a sin offering;
beside the continual burnt offering, and his meat offering, and
his drink offering. 29 And on the sixth day eight bullocks, two
rams, and fourteen lambs of the first year without blemish: 30 And
their meat offering and their drink offerings for the bullocks,
for the rams, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number,
after the manner: 31 And one goat for a sin offering; beside the
continual burnt offering, his meat offering, and his drink offering.
32 And on the seventh day seven bullocks, two rams, and fourteen
lambs of the first year without blemish: 33 And their meat offering
and their drink offerings for the bullocks, for the rams, and for
the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the manner:
34 And one goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering,
his meat offering, and his drink offering. 35 On the eighth day
ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein:
36 But ye shall offer a burnt offering, a sacrifice made by fire,
of a sweet savour unto the LORD: one bullock, one ram, seven lambs
of the first year without blemish: 37 Their meat offering and their
drink offerings for the bullock, for the ram, and for the lambs,
shall be according to their number, after the manner: 38 And one
goat for a sin offering; beside the continual burnt offering, and
his meat offering, and his drink offering. 39 These things ye shall
do unto the LORD in your set feasts, beside your vows, and your
freewill offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your meat
offerings, and for your drink offerings, and for your peace offerings.

1 ¶And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children
of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.
2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his
soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according
to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
3 ¶If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by
a bond, being in her father's house in her youth; 4 And her father
hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and
her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall
stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
5 But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not
any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul,
shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father
disallowed her. 6 And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed,
or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
7 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day
that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith
she bound her soul shall stand. 8 But if her husband disallowed
her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which
she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she
bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.
9 But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith
they have bound their souls, shall stand against her. 10 And if
she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with
an oath; 11 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her,
and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every
bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. 12 But if her husband
hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever
proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the
bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void;
and the LORD shall forgive her. 13 Every vow, and every binding
oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband
may make it void. 14 But if her husband altogether hold his peace
at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all
her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held
his peace at her in the day that he heard them. 15 But if he shall
any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall
bear her iniquity. 16 These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded
Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter,
being yet in her youth in her father's house.

1 ¶The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of
water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
2 ¶Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth
the hearts.
3 ¶To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than
sacrifice.
4 ¶An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked,
is sin.
5 ¶The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but
of every one that is hasty only to want.
6 ¶The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed
to and fro of them that seek death.
7 ¶The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse
to do judgment.
8 ¶The way of man is froward and strange: but as for the pure, his
work is right.
9 ¶It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with
a brawling woman in a wide house.
10 ¶The soul of the wicked desireth evil: his neighbour findeth
no favour in his eyes.
11 ¶When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when
the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.
12 ¶The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked:
but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.
13 ¶Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall
cry himself, but shall not be heard.
14 ¶A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom
strong wrath.
15 ¶It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall
be to the workers of iniquity.
16 ¶The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall
remain in the congregation of the dead.
17 ¶He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth
wine and oil shall not be rich.
18 ¶The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor
for the upright.
19 ¶It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious
and an angry woman.
20 ¶There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the
wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.
21 ¶He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life,
righteousness, and honour.
22 ¶A wise man scaleth the city of the mighty, and casteth down
the strength of the confidence thereof.
23 ¶Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from
troubles.
24 ¶Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud
wrath.
25 ¶The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse
to labour. 26 He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous
giveth and spareth not.
27 ¶The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when
he bringeth it with a wicked mind?
28 ¶A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh
constantly.
29 ¶A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he
directeth his way.
30 ¶There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the
LORD. 31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety
is of the LORD.

1 ¶And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and
the mother of Jesus was there: 2 And both Jesus was called, and
his disciples, to the marriage. 3 And when they wanted wine, the
mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. 4 Jesus saith
unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet
come. 5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith
unto you, do it. 6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone,
after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or
three firkins apiece. 7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots
with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And he saith
unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast.
And they bare it. 9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water
that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants
which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the
bridegroom, 10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth
set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which
is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. 11 This beginning
of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his
glory; and his disciples believed on him.
12 ¶After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and
his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many
days. 13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to
Jerusalem, 14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep
and doves, and the changers of money sitting: 15 And when he had
made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple,
and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money,
and overthrew the tables; 16 And said unto them that sold doves,
Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of
merchandise. 17 And his disciples remembered that it was written,
The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. 18 Then answered the Jews
and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou
doest these things? 19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy
this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then said
the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt
thou rear it up in three days? 21 But he spake of the temple of
his body. 22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples
remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the
scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
23 ¶Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day,
many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all
men, 25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew
what was in man.

1 ¶There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of
the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him,
Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man
can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man
be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom
of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which
is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,
Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and
thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh,
and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel,
and knowest not these things? 11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye
receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and
ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly
things? 13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came
down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14 And
as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the
Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should
not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent
not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned:
but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath
not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And
this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and
men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh
to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that
doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest,
that they are wrought in God.
22 ¶After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land
of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. 23 And
John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was
much water there: and they came, and were baptized. 24 For John
was not yet cast into prison. 25 Then there arose a question between
some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. 26 And they
came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee
beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth,
and all men come to him. 27 John answered and said, A man can receive
nothing, except it be given him from heaven. 28 Ye yourselves bear
me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent
before him. 29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the
friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth
greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore
is fulfilled. 30 He must increase, but I must decrease. 31 He that
cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly,
and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man
receiveth his testimony. 33 He that hath received his testimony
hath set to his seal that God is true. 34 For he whom God hath sent
speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure
unto him. 35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things
into his hand. 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting
life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but
the wrath of God abideth on him.
