The Initiative

We finally find out that Oz's full name is Daniel Osborne.

There's some extremely lacklustre dancing in this episode. This is probably down to the fact that (in order to make editing easier) scenes like these are often recorded without the music, so the actors have nothing to dance to.

When Spike's looking for Buffy, he scrolls through a list of Buffy crew, such as fight co-ordinator Jeff Pruitt.

Deadstar 'Lights Go Down', Four Star Mary 'Fate', Jake Lee Rau 'Welcome', Moby 'Bodyrock', That Dog 'Never Say Never' and  Nikki Gregaroff 'Like We Never Said Goodbye'.

Pangs

Chumash: is a real Indian tribe. The Indian tribe we meet here is spelt Shumach in the script, however.

Oops Moment:

Anya: claims this is the first time she's met Angel. WRONG. She was with him in the bar in Dopplegangland, and fleetingly in Graduation Day.

Something Blue

Music

Sue Willett 'Night Time Company'.
Blink 182: 'All the Small Things' is playing at the Bronze.

Hush

According to stunt ace Jeff Pruitt, the scenes of the Gentlemen gliding so smoothly through Sunnydale were achieved by swinging them across distances of over 120 feet using cherrypickers.

The music playing during Giles' lecture is the Jonathan Creek theme music, taken from Saint-Sans 'Danse Macabre'. Anthony Stuart Head was in the pilot of Jonathan Creek, playing Jonathan's boss.

A New Man

Giles and Ethan's drinks. Watch them closely - they're a continuity nightmare, with drink levels rising and falling all over the place.

Volt Sex 'Over Divine', Other Star People 'Then There's None' and Scott Ellison 'Down, Down Baby'.

This Years Girl

Oops moment:

Who phones Buffy to tell her that Faith is awake? And why do they phone her at Giles's house?
