Primeval

Jeff Pruitt's stunt team produced much more footage for the climatic Initiative fight than wound up in the programme. He and his wife Sophia Crawford (Buffy's stunt double) moved on at the end of this season. This was due to creative differences with the production team, and, allegedly, at the orders of one of the stars.

Buffy and Adam's fight looks like it owes an awful lot to The Matrix (slow-mo bullets and mid-air kicks). This was emphatically not the intention of Joss Whedon who was reportedly furious when he watched the rushes.

Restless

Joss Whedon admits Willow painting Greek on Tara's back may have been influenced by the poster for a Peter Greenaway film. He has never seen the film though! It's a very art-house movie about a mostly-naked Ewan McGregor having calligraphy painted on him for a very long time. Fans were quick to spot the Greek poem is by Sappho, from the Island of Lesbos.

When Giles and Anya are telling Xander to get back to Buffy's house. Giles's voice is dubbed by Joss Whedon's assistant.

Cheese man: It's a joke from Joss Whedon. He claims it means absolutely nothing, but the fans don't believe him.

Christophe Beck: It's his last score for Buffy, and it's a great, great set of incidental music (the scene in the Ice Cream van especially). His replacement for Season Five is called Thomas Wanker ( British fans, stop rolling on the floor and laughing your 'bits' off!)

Music:

Anthony Stewart Head, Chris Beck and Four Star Mary 'The Exposition Song'.
