| For those who have come to Magelaw for the first time I welcome you. You have entered a site that speaks of the nature of creation. We all seek. I seek daily for truth in whatever form I may be fortunate enough to find it, and you would not be here if you were not at some level pursuing truth as well. The name Magelaw is I suppose something of an anachronism, but for this purpose it means the following. Mage refers to Magi. This is a term of old that describes those who possesed knowledge not common. It is the age for all of us to do everything in our power to make that knowledge common. That is the Law and refers to the fact that all those of you out there who seek the truth show within you a strength that breeds power. That is your power. The power to not succumb to the foolishness of a materialistic world. With great power comes great responsibility. It is in one place written, that though many are called, few are chosen. You are called, but whether you are chosen is up to you. All may be decieved, even the elect. Magelaw is quite possibly a step in your search, and I sincerely hope you who come here find whatever small piece of that all encompassing puzzle called life, that previously you lacked. I know a small part through the experiences that I have had, and I know that you too, carry within you a piece of that puzzle. The realm of the spirit or soul is one that traditionally throughout our history has been studied, without objectivity. Here we espouse the philosophy that it is merely another form of energy and further that becoming aware of our full nature will not simply make everything 'alright', but rather it is a part of the long process of learming to overcome the obstacles around us. For those who come regularly, I will be posting further essays related to the topics herein, and I certainly welcome your own submissions for publishing. I have searched through many sites on the net, and many claim that they are the way. I make no such claim. At best I suppose I might tell you that I am on my way. We all must find our way in our own way. (Sounds rather obvious when put that way, doesn't it.) Awareness is a thing that is built upon the backs of many not few. Well now, I shall step off my soapbox, and hopefully you will continue on. Please feel free to surf the Magelaw site and submit your thoughts, sign the guestbook, or just email me to let me know you read it. I highly recommend using the utmost judgementwith regard to all you see and read on the internet, if it sounds to good to be true, guess what, it probably is.
