| Here is a tale cloaked in rhyme, that precedes our thoughts, but approaches our time... Does it sound familiar? Seven men set forth in search of a sign each making choices each in his time. The first was emboldened by a path like a line: "Straight and Narrow" was the caption on the aging sign. The second made ready a plan with his mind, and set forth logically, to search and to find. The third was honest and sought the way to be wise, but first was he hurt by the truth in all lies. The fourth waxed strong in the red planets light, and his name was called mighty in all mens sight. The fifth was at peace and so little was said; for he simply went to work and simply went to bed. The sixth made no bones about the nature of his call, and freely did he follow the Angel of the fall. The seventh was a servant in all of his ways, and the WORD spoke through him in all of his days. These are the tales of seven men that all men know, that rejoice in our highs, and revel in our lows. For in all our follies are seven mens flaws and in all our triumphs are seven mens laws. |
