The Sacred Name YAHUSHUA

Okay Confusion... Step aside. It's time to understand the meaning of the word 'Christ'. This word is based on the Greek translation for 'messiah', Christos, which means 'Anointed One'. Check the beginning of a King James version of the New Testament. You will see 'Translated out of the Original Greek'. Was Jesus Christ a Greek? Negative. He was an Israelite. Israelites spoke Hebrew. 'Messiah' is much closer to the original Hebrew word mashiyach.

But then understand clearly. Neither Christ nor Messiah are proper names like Smith or Johnson. They are appended titles. Removing the titles attached to the sacred Name leaves us with just the divinely ordained name Jesus.

So how about the name 'Jesus'? Is this the real sacred name? Once again, negative. In truth, 'Jesus' is an Anglicized, Latinized version of a Greek transliteration of an abbreviation of the original Hebrew sacred Name. Yeah, no kidding. What a long strange trip it's been. The original sacred Name of the Messiah written in Hebrew is  . Transliterated directly into English, this becomes Yahushua. If we wish to call upon the sacred Name of our Master in Heaven, we must call upon His real Name. Therefore we are not really 'Christians'. More accurately, we are disciples of Yahushua, the Messiah.

Acts 4: 12 ~ Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

If you can't get past this, at least consider this one simple fact: How could the Messiah have been known to everyone in ancient Rome by a name beginning with the letter 'J' when the letter 'J' HAD NOT EVEN BEEN INVENTED YET? It is a well known historical fact that the letter 'J' was only invented around 500 years ago. Therefore it is impossible that 2000 years ago the Messiah was known to one and all as 'Jesus'.   MORE...
