| The DOWNRIVER area is the Area along the Detroit River. Stretching the whole length of Wayne county. This web page goes beyond that, and into the entire Southeastern region of Michigan!!! The region has four railroads, many with parallel trackage, where in many cases, the rail lines may be within a hundred feet of eachother, calling for some serious photo opportunities for railfans!
