Review:
This time, it's the U.N. who builds a giant, mechanized Godzilla as a countermeasure against the Big G. There's really not a heck of a lot of plot, but who really cares? This movie is chock full of exciting, well executed action scenes and great special effects, and the tension keeps building until the very end. This movie also reintroduces another old Japanese monster favorite, Rodan, as well as an updated version of Son of Godzilla! My only complaint is that the plot, such as it is, seems a bit choppy at time. The version of the movie which I own came with an extra 10 minutes or so of scenes cut from the film, presumably for length, which really made some of the included scenes make more sense.
