LT is Ready For Season 9!

The Rules

3 human players each with 4 teams battle it out for the Tecmo Bowl. 2 divisions (6 teams each), with 2 of each guys team in each division play a 10 week season to determine who goes to the play-offs. The 10 week season is broken up into playing your 4 non-controlled teams in your division twice each (1 home, 1 away) and 2 inter-division games (1 vs. each other human player). At the end of the 10 week 60 game schedule the top 3 teams in each division make the play-offs, with the 1st place team in each division getting a bye for the first round of the play-offs. Play-offs are single game elimination and feature the #2 vs. the #3 in each divison, with the #2 seed getting the game at home. The winner of each game then faces their divison's winner with the #1 seed at home. The 2 winners face in the Tecmo Bowl.
The play-off tie breakers are as follows: Head-to-head record, record vs. common opponets, strength of schedule, PF-PA. If it is still tied after that then we have no contengency plan, but what are the odds?

The Teams

Kyle Derek Cam
1. Chicago 2. San Francisco 3. New York
4. Denver 5. Cleveland 6. Indianapolis
7. Seattle 8. Miami 9. Los Angeles
10. Minnesota 11. Washinton 12. Dallas

Team Analysis

Kyle doesn't have Cleveland. Shocking. For the first time everyone has 2 real teams, so it should be an interesting season.

The Divisions

To determine the divisions a combination of random draw and executive decisons were used with the only rules being that obviously only 2 of the same human teams per division and the NYG can't be with WSH. Divisions play a MAJOR factor in the determining who will come out on top and what teams will have play-off hopes and dreams.

The Divisions

The East: NYG, CHI, SEA, MIA, WSH, DAL

The West: SF, CLE, DEN, IND, LA, MIN

The Division Analysis

The West has 4 legit play-off hopefuls, so things could get messy there. New York and Chicago only really have each other to deal with in the West. The Big Winners: The West

The All Important Inter-League Games

Weeks 4 and 7 are the inter-division games and play a big part in what teams have the easy road to the play-offs and what teams are getting the shaft. More notable Week 4 games include: DEN-NYG, CLE-CHI. Some bigger Week 7 games are: CHI-IND and NYG-CLE.

The Big Winners: SF with games agaisnt Dallas and Seattle
The Big Losers: Cleveland, my god games against Chicago and New York. That's a rough go.

Vegas Weighs In

Each teams odds of winning the whole thing:

NYG 3-2
SF 4-1
CHI 6-1
CLE 10-1
IND 12-1
DEN 20-1
SEA 30-1
MIA 30-1
LA 50-1
DAL 100-1
WSH 110-1
MIN 115-1

Do not bet on Minnesota, Washington or Dallas, they can't win. Repeat Can't win. To illustrate the point:

What Will Not Happen. At All.

The Upcoming Week

Right here is the space where you can read up on the upcoming week of games. Complete with important info, other crap, and most importantly: the spreads. For gambling purposes keep in mind spreads reflect everything: home field, human player, hot streaks, etc.

Week 8

Washington (Derek) vs. New York (Cam) - The Giants own Washington, and are looking to run the table to scare Chicago for home field. Only being on the road keeps this under 7 +6.5 spread.
Dallas (Cam) vs. Chicago (Kyle) - Chicago took a 10-3 victory in Week 6 against Dallas. +7.5 spread.
Seattle (Kyle) vs. Miami (Derek) - Seattle has been struggling, but Miami's play-off hopes are pretty much gone and they're on the road. +3.5 spread.
Indianapolis (Cam) vs. Minnesota (Kyle) - ED baby, ED. -6.5 spread.
Denver (Kyle) vs. Cleveland (Derek) - Looks like the toughest match-up of the week. Cleveland gets the slight edge. +2.5 spread.
San Francisco (Derek) vs. Los Angeles (Cam) - San Fran could be pissed after dropping their perfect season to Indy, as Lott's 4 INTs vs. Seattle in Week 7 can atest to. -7.5 spread.
