Part One I have to express my thanks for your indulging what is quite possibly the world's longest and most difficult makeover. And despite the name change, this is the *real* original storyline, (predating even the previously published version) with plot refinements and a lot of cleanup. I decided to publish this version because despite too many rewrites and revisions to remember (I stopped counting at 30), this one just told her story the best. I hope you'll find that to be true, too! Please enjoy it, and as always, feel free to let me know whether or not you did. |
