Barnet 3 v 1 Carlisle (League)
An ordinary performance at Underhills sees my team going down to an away defeat. Barnet were on top from beginning till end and Midgley scored twice in the 1st half. Then Stevens gave us a ray of hope but then Searle finished us off for a disappointing start to the season. MOM Stevens.

Carlisle 0 v 2 Cardiff (league)
Are second game of our campaign saw Cardiff visit us. They dominated the 1st half and took the lead through Bonner and Evans followed that only 8 minutes later. In the second half I decided to go attacking and changed to 4-3-3 this was very affective and we had 9 shots on goal but our strikers didn�t make them count. MOM Whitehead.

After conceding 5 goals in only 2 games I decided to make 20,000 pound bid for Burnley�s Mitchell Thomas who can play any were along the back 4.

Notts Forest 2 v 0 Carlisle (Worthington Cup 1st leg)
Our 1st leg tie saw us a very tough away game at Forest. Both central defenders scored for Forest and put us past from winning. It wasn�t a bad performance though but all I can hope for is a good performance at Home.

With the money from the Forest game I decide to up my offer for Thomas to 30,000.

Another terrible performance saw us crash to another defeat a put us to the bottom of the table with no points. Glover and Whitehead got the goals on either stroke of half time. MOM 20-year-old Thurston.

Carlisle 1 v 1 Hull (league)
Finally we get a result against attacking side Hull who attacked from the 1st minute but we sucked up the pressure and got a point with the back four playing outstanding with new signing Bayliss. Whitmore opened the scoring for Hull but then a few minutes later Healy equalised from a free kick. MOM Glennon.
