| Information about work permits. Here are a few facts about work permits that may aid you in the keeping of or signing of players in your future CM games. The main thing to remember is that the work permit rule s not just a rule in football, it is rule in all types of work all around the world. It cannot be disputed or ignored. If you have foreign players and wish to keep them, or are looking to buy foriegn players it would benifit you to read this first. A foriegn player must play at least 75% of the games in which he is available during one season or their work permit will not be renewed. Factors such as wage and transfer status have no effect what so ever on the renewal of work permits. To sign a non-EC player he must have played at least 10 games at international level. If you don't use these helpful tips you will lose your non-EC players as they will only usually be taken on a free transfer. Remember also, that if you already have the maximum number of non EU players allowed in your squad, it is porbably a good idea to sell one of them before you buy another. Thisis because one of them will have to be left out of the squad and if he doesnt play reguarly then his work permit will not be renewed and you will lose that player. Information about the Bosman Ruling. The "Bosman Ruling" allows a player to move to another club without a transfer fee, providing his contract at his current club has reached it's expiry date. This gives the player involved an incredible amount of power to hold his current club at ransom, or face the consequences of losing out on possible millions of pounds in income. When a player has just six months left on his current contract until it's expiry date, he is then allowed to speak freely and negotiate a possible transfer with another club in which he can sign a pre-arranged agreement to join a new team on a free transfer. The "Bosman Ruling" only applies to those players of the age of 24 years or over. Players under the age of 24 years can still move to another club via "Bosman Ruling" although the club signing the player is forced to pay a compensation fee to the players current club. This is to protect clubs from having their young players and possible hot future prospects being snapped up on free transfers, which helps secure the safety of some of the smaller clubs in world football. |
