Outside the Museum -- waiting for their ride?
After breakfast at the hotel, we visited a local mosque, where we had an opportunity to ask the imam any questions regarding Islam with the help of Sidar for translation.  At the end of our Q & A session, the imam recited verses from Koran.  His voice echoed inside the mosque with great clarity.

Outside the mosque we saw a little boy.  He reminded me of my grandson who also admires the Spider Man.  He was pleased to see his photos on our tour member's camera.
In the afternoon, we drove to 13th-century Sultanhan Caravansari.  The Anatolian Seljuks who understood the importance of trade encouraged Sultans to build these public buildings on the caravan routes.  In times of emergencies, they were used for military purpose.
Then we moved onto Konya.  Sidar suggested that we visit the Mevlana Museum today as soon as we settled in at our hotel.  This way wed have more time to drive to Antalya tomorrow.  Jerry had hoped to see the real Sema Dance of whirling dervishes there, but to no avail, there were no live dances.  However, the elaborate displays at the museum were worth the visit.
