| What made you decide to travel to Turkey, people ask us? I knew very little about Turkey, but my former co-worker traveled to Turkey every year even after September 11th. Jerry agreed to go with me, because Turkey was the least Europe-like country. We are so glad that we made this trip. Turkey was a beautiful and delightful country, and the Turkish people were warm and friendly. Even though we had been in Turkey only for two weeks, I looked forward to waking up with the imam�s morning prayer which was broadcasted from a mosque�s minaret. During my drives to and from Lake Tahoe for skiing, I still listen to their traditional music and reminisce about our delightful moments in Turkey. |
