The workshops suggested by
the Project were selected between the
already existing workshops in the Society and, for the up to
date of the proposal we intend to create a workshop of computing,
registration and documentation as a tool for information and
formation of profissional skill in a global world.

São Gonçalo
do Retiro Community
Youths from the Community, distributed
among 12 (twelve) workshops with 30 students each. The students
must be at regular school. A total of 360 children and 12 teachers
trained on the issues of the Project. Each child participates
of just one workshop having the right of an income to help their
families and receiving balanced food. We intend to act at:
- São Gonçalo do Retiro
Community that participates of the activities of the Ile Axe
Opo Afonja.
- We will divulge at Eugenia Anna dos
Santos School - first criterion of selection of students.
- We will also divulge through posters, newspapers etc.
- Each child will receive shirts indicating the activity and
respective sponsor.
- Our aim is to reach up to 10 teenagers becoming social instructors.
- Build an espace which will be called
Ode Kayode.
- Education of 30 children and teenagers as "capoeiristas"
and able to make musical instruments.
- Education of 30 teenagers for wood
and iron work .
- Education of 30 children and teenagers in recycling paper.
- Education of 30 children and teenagers in percussion (band).
- Education of 30 children and teenagers in doll making.
- Education of 8 children and teenager as organizers of the group
memory.
- Education of 30 children and teenagers in afro dancing.
- Education of 30 children and teenagers in choir.
- Education of 210 children and teenagers in computing.
We intend to have a number of these adolescents working at the
demands of the Project itself, as well as working in computing
for the Afonja Community - that means at School, Library, Museum,
Meetings etc - work which will give a return to maintain the
computing workshop (hardware, sofwares...).
- Education of 30 adolescents in ecological
issues.
