Intro:
Sonic Compilation was released in Europe in 1995, then two years later in North America, under the name Sonic Classics.

The Game:
Sonic Compilation features Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. The games are pretty much identical to their stand-alone counterparts, except the odd bug fix or two. You can't use the Sonic & Knuckles lock-on to play Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 or Blue Sphere with this cart.
