Intro:
This is what would have been Sonic the Hedgehog 3, were it not for time constraints during development. The game contains all the zones from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic & Knuckles, and follows the whole story between both games. In this game, you can play as each of the three main characters throughout the whole game, meaning you can now get Tails in the Sonic & Knuckles levels, and Knuckles in the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 levels.

Story:
Sonic and Tails are racing to stop the Death Egg from re-launching, and Knuckles still believes them to be his enemies. In the meantime, Eggman has his eyes on the Master Emerald, which could fuel his Death Egg forever! Will Sonic be able to stop his before it's too late?

The Game:
Sonic 3 & Knuckles is considered to be the greatest Sonic game yet, and it's massive 14 zones with three characters who can all take their own routes through the levels really add length to this game, not to mention having to go though 14 special stages.
