Thursday 30 December
Benjamin was never lewd!
Thursday 30 December
I don't know why I collect pictures anymore. It's not like I have any school books to cover.
Saturday 25/12/04
Merry Christmas everybody!
Monday 20 December
Reflections on being an Australian, part 5
"I should have worn my shoes so we could have gone to the pub."
Thursday 16 December
Another virtual all-nighter. Tonight my time is being spent listening to music and playing Bejeweled, a game Benjamin used to play a lot when we were going out because we didn't really have a lot to talk about on MSN. I might go clean soon.
Nope, no cleaning. More bejeweled. I seem to have become a tad nocturnal. I didn't go to sleep until very early last night either. I am so very unhappy right now.
Wednesday 15 December
I have just been looking up traineeships and apprenticeships and my favourites are (in this order):
Union Recruitment and Organising
Bicycle Mechanic
Rail Operator Level 3 (Train Driver and so on)
Sound Technician
Carpentry
Agriculture Level 3
So now I just have to decide whether I want to be a Union Recruiter and Organiser or a Bicycle Mechanic. The union one looks more exciting, but the bicycle one looks less stressful. And I think I would be really good at fixing bicycles. But the union one looks so exciting! And would employ a lot of skills I already have. And it is more in line with what I am long-term interested in. But the bicycle one would be better for now. ..Think! That's basically where my thoughts are at. Looking at this stuff has filled me with hope for the world where before I was thinking about how much I hated everything. I would like a job. This is good.
Tuesday 14 December
Amazing revelation! It is 4:47 in the morning and not only are my parents awake, but they are already drinking tea. After all these years I have finally figured out how my mother manages to drink twelve cups of tea a day. She starts early. My parents are on holidays, by the way. Freaks.
P.S. I can no longer type
P.P.S. I'm feeling a lot better right now than I usually do when awoken at the reasonably hour of 10:30am. Even so I can't type.
Tuesday 14 December
Holy crap, it's dawn. That means I stayed up all night doing the Concerned Friends Christmas EP artwork and I didn't even notice it. I'll upload it later, I should probably go to bed.
Friday 10 December
Hahaa hahaa hahaaa! Hahahahaa! Hahahaaa! Hahaha hahaa haahahaa!
Thursday 9 December
I like the way that Tim smiles at me when I see him. It's a nice smile. It seems genuine.
Wednesday 8 December
Rhi Stanley keeps appearing in my dreams. Just hanging out, like old times. Old times were so very long ago.
Friday 6 December
OK I'm over it. It seems that time does indeed heal all wounds!
Friday 6 December
I don't know what happened but I'm guessing it's something along the lines of my final essays didn't get the marks of my first ones, for I got a C overall for both of my subjects at uni. I know I didn't deserve the distinction I got for my first essay, but I'm not sure why I wouldn't have at least passed with my other two essays because they were of similar quality. So it seems that once again I am not going to do so well at school. And it's not even that a C is all that bad, it's the simple fact that everyone I know at All Hallows' will have gotten a better mark and once again I will be typecast as the comic relief amongst my so-called friends. This is not cool. I hate being the dumb one.
Friday 3 December
If you go to http://www.geocities.com/bozcorp/photographs.htm you will find a collection of my favourite photographs.
Friday 3rd of December
So instead of just talking about how this is the best non-ratings season ever, including that one where they played the Adams Family, Hogan's Heros and M*A*S*H one after that other for pure bliss almost every day of the holidays, I have compiled a TV timetable from this week's TV guide. I hope all of you can find inspiration from what I am about to show you.

Here it is in .doc format. tvtimetable.doc
Wednesday 1 December
I love being a vegetarian, I really do, but now it seems I am losing muscle mass. I base
this on the fact that I ride my bike heaps nowadays and somehow I have gone down a gear for
my standard gear. Actually when I think about it I've gone down two since this whole
vegetarianism thing, but gear four was only a pipe dream I insisted on pursuing in the crazy
spring of my youth. Now that I mention it, perhaps it is the weather. Or maybe I'm just not
pushing myself as hard as I used to. I have started using the gearing system a lot more in
regards to going up and down hills. Still, gear (3) two as my standard gear is pansy. It's
so low it's not even worth the trouble of pushing the wheel all the way around. I blame it
on vegetarianism. First I lost energy (though that has been somewhat regained. Or maybe I've
gotten used to having less energy) and now I've lost muscle mass. And I can't seem to keep
weight on either. Either vegetarianism isn't working or I'm not doing vegetarianism right.
It's probably the latter, but I know so many vegetarians who eat far worse than I do and
they appear to be doing fine. Everything considered, this takes me one step closer to the
counter-intuitive leap of veganism, as apparently that lifts your energy levels and maybe it
will do other stuff as well. From my vague knowledge of things, dairy contains protein (?)
and taking that out of my diet might actually make me lose more muscle mass (?). I'm not
aiming for a wispy look but if you are I would definitely advocate giving up meat.
In other news, I am probably going to Maleny tomorrow, which should be fun! Today when I was looking up information for transport to Maleny I noticed that I could get to the beach on my monthly ticket so I did. First day of Summer and everything. Beautiful. The tide was out so I went digging through rock pools. I took my bike and a picnic. I met some real "kiwis" on the way home who really loved Fawlty towers. I would recommend it to anyone.
