Computer technology is modifying the very foundation of our educational
system today. Schools are being confronted with complex and diverse
new tasks. This is calling for innovations in our teaching methods
and integration of technology into every classroom. The faculty
of Bland High School has an obligation to prepare our students
for the information age and changing world of the 21st century.
Technology is changing the way people live, learn, and think.
Bland must seek to enhance students' learning experiences through
effective use of educational technologies. To achieve this goal
we feel Bland High School should continue to provide innovations in multimedia
education, access to the Internet for research, exploration, and
communication, and appropriate computer experiences to prepare
students for the dynamic technological complexities of the world
in which they live.
