Our pet Shiba seems to be getting along with the family a bit better.  However, it's still a stubborn one.  Refuses to walk out by holding its ground.  It's no easy dog to drag for some reason.  It looks like it doesn't like walking on concrete or something.  Now that my sister is giving it more attention as well as my dad, I can probably focus on some other stuff now.  But I don't know why it barks at me for no reason at times.

Not too long ago, I sold off some of my anime stuff.  Got rid of the Clayz Fate/stay night 1/6 Saber Complete Type PVC Figurine, Solid Works Ichigekisacchu Hoi Hoi San Collection Figure Series, & Kotobukiya Non-Scale Star Ocean 3: Til The End Of Time Nel Zelpher PVC Figure.  I updated those reviews to mention about not being in my collection anymore.  Still in the process of getting rid of more, but they are trading figures at this point.  Can't think of which PVCs to get rid of next since I'm too attached to the Pia Carrot series.

Next week or so, I'll be getting a couple of PSP games: Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner & Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure.  I couldn't find any of the games in my area, so I decided to order online instead from an overseas company.  Because the company didn't have Monster Kingdom in stock & was searching for it from their suppliers, I was a bit concern as Altus, the game company that published it here, releases a small quantity I managed to get a copy at Toys R Us.  Within the same day, the overseas company managed to get one for me.  Because I heard how hard it was to find the game, I was thinking if I should hold the copy from Toys R Us & sell it in the future for profit.  Also, it's kind of a hassle to refund it since I don't have the time to run around the place at times.  But holding two copies of the same game isn't my style.  So, I decided to refund it.  Also, I'll be getting my Good Smile Company Death Note L's Chair Charm.  Don't know if that would be wearable around my neck due to its design.

In anime news, The Third has been licensed by RightStuf.  It was originally an unknown company until they announced themselves at the New York Comic Con 2007.  At the same convention, Bandai announced the rights to Flag.

Updates?  Not much, but here we go:

As of late, I've been cleaning out my closet of anime figures.  Personally, I'm losing interest in collecting these types of anime figures.  One reason is most likely the current figures on the market.  They look too dull or the faces aren't done well now.  It's all to common.  Even with the strippable ones, they are quite attractive but hard to display around the house really.  Need to get rid of my old stuff first before getting new ones since my closet is overflowing with boxes.  Plus, I don't think most of them will see light even though I got some empty space now on my shelves.  Going to use those spaces for important stuff instead.

Another reason I don't see myself getting more figures is that my family have a dog now.  One of my dad's clients didn't want the dog since she wasn't able to take it back to Beijing with her.  The plane ticket for the pet was $1000 for some reason.  Sounds a bit high to me.  So, my dad decided to take the dog since he liked it & the rest of my family members seem to agree on taking it in.  Plus, it was free.  Personally, I didn't care but I really didn't want the dog because I don't have the time to take care of it.  A dog carries a lot of responsibility.  The dog is a female Shiba & two years old.  Unfortunately, the dog isn't cooperating with us.  She barks for attention with a high whimpering sound.  Even when we tend to it, she doesn't do anything.  Doesn't respond to her name or play catch.  Pretty much ignores us.  For sure, she's not use to the environment around her as it is new.  But I don't want to spend time with her since I'm too busy with other stuff & didn't want the dog in the first place.  I got enough to do as it is & I'm yearning for a lot of free time these days.  My family members aren't doing to much for it & it seems I'm giving the dog the most time so far.

Recently, my money is being used on PSP games, Japanese CDs, & anime DVDs.  Plus, some anime accessories.  Expensive, but smaller than figures & are rarer.  Also, they have more use than figures since they don't just display there & look pretty.

Speaking of accessories, I got my Rozen Maiden Träumend Suiseiseki Ring of Contract earrings last week.  According to the distributor & possibly marker, SOL International, it's made of 0.925 silver.  I'm no jewelry expert, but those kind of silver is usually cheap I think.  Initially, I was going to use it as a necklace until I saw a pair of the rings & how small it was.  I knew beforehand that it won't fit on a finger, but  I didn't think it was really small.  I have no plans on wearing them as earrings since I don't have my ears pierced.  But I may try them on for the hell of it to see how that clamp system works.  I do have an itching on putting an earring on one of my ears for some reason.  Don't know why.

In anime news, Geneon USA licensed Karin.  Personally, I don't think that was a good move on the company as I found the show to be dry & terrible.  Updated my review on it to reflect the licensing.

Lately, I haven't put up a new special section on my website.  The Welcome to Pia Carrot!! 3 & planetarian ~the reverie of a little planet~ sections have been up for awhile.  Pia Carrot is doing great based on the hits I saw in my stat data, but planetarian isn't doing good.  Probably still too new.  But I encourage people to check that section out as well since it's made by KEY & has a great story.  Really want to promote that.  Currently, I have two titles in mind for the next special section.  Both are ero based games.  They are Crescendo & Pia Carrot G.O.  Crescendo has been on my mind for a long time now, but I haven't got around in making it due to time from work & doing reviews for other parts on this site.  Now that I got less collectable items & just focusing on doing reviews for anime shows right now, I have a bit of my time freed up.  I've currently started playing Pia Carrot G.O. & that game is massive.  Crescendo I have completed a long time ago & I still have some of the stories fresh in my head.  That should be the first one on the list.  Pia Carrot G.O. will take a long time.  But why am I focusing more on ero based games?  Mainly because the stories are better in those for some reason.  I'm not into eroge playing really.  I look for stories.  Until then, if you haven't done so, please check out the Welcome to Pia Carrot!! 3 & planetarian ~the reverie of a little planet~ special sections.

Sold some of my stuff recently, but I'll do the updates on those next time.  I think I did more than enough stuff here as it is.

Valentine's Day is here.  Got something for your love one?

Lately, I've been busy doing a lot of things.  Work & personal life.  Mainly because I've been lazy & slacking off on doing things.  Pretty much doing things at a slow pace & making things drag really.  I've been still cleaning around my room.  Long ago, I sold off all my Negima collection.  So I updated the Negima section in my Collection section to reflect this minor change.  Recently sold away my Megahouse Gundam Seed Destiny Stellar Loussie Action Figure on eBay for a nice profit.  I actually sold it to a hobby shop around my area & I go there at times to buy model paints & some trading figures.  It would be interesting to see it being for sale at that shop.  Should make some sort of mark on it to see if it was mine's.  Kind of miss it a bit since I like Stellar & it was very hard to get her at the price I paid for.  Anyways, I put up a brief review of it on the site in the Gundam section.  I'm currently still in the process of getting rid of more stuff.  So, check out my sister's eBay selling list.

As of late, Canadian is getting a lot of anime attention.  The anime channel is coming to Canada & TechTV has some nice anime series from Geneon USA such as Gungrave & GunXSword.  I've been hearing how the US have lesser anime shows now & some of the shows there are now broadcasted later than Canada.  I found this kind of interesting really since the US has a large anime crowd than here.  However, the US has a better selection of anime DVDs & related merchandises such as bags, figures, etc.  Canada doesn't really have that pleasure in terms of DVDs.  For merchandises, we usually go to stores that specializes in anime or Japanese stuff such as import related stores.

Not going to put up some updates this week as I'm still too busy.  But, I put up MUV-LUV Supplement in the Downloads section as a love gift for Valentine's Day.

Until then, Happy Chinese New Year everyone!  The year of the pig promises to be very good for me this year.  But, I'll see about that!

Didn't get a chance to update this place last week.  Got myself a new desk from Ikea for my room.  My old desk was falling apart, but was fixed.  But it was very old.  Had it since I was a elementary student.  My new desk doesn't have any drawers, so I had to get one somewhere in my house that was idle.  Luckily, I don't have a lot of stuff due to some clean up.  Plan to do some more clean up during my day off if I can.  A co-worker at work wanted to swap days with me this week & I have days off that are broken apart instead of having them two in a row.  I have an extra shelf on my desk since it's designed as a computer workstation, but I don't plan to put any anime figures on there.  Probably the collectables instead like my Fate/stay night music box.  Only thinking of putting one & some DVDs on there since I want some empty space for more important things.  By the way, the name of the desk sounds stupid.  It's called Jerker.  Sick name.

Speaking of DVDs, I got my Rumbling Hearts DVD starter box set.  Completes the DVD boxes that I was waiting for.  Now, I've got new orders that are mainly CDs & anime-related accessories.  I don't know why I'm getting these things.  Probably because I've started to get into some sort of fashion or feel the need to put something around my neck or wrist.  Also got The Legend of Heroes III & played with it.  A quick brief review of it in case some of you are thinking about getting it.  The game is a bit different in the battle system now as it's a bit more player active.  You don't just watch the action after you input your commands.  You can "break" into it.  I'll make a more detail review of the game when I'm finished with it & have time to make one.

In anime news, a bunch of anime shows got licensed here.  FUNimation licensed My Santa, Aquarion, & Shuffle!  Shuffle! is a bit of a surprise to me.  Bandai got Tide Line Blue, My Otome, Demon Prince Enma, & Gunbuster 2.  Not a bad selection in my view.  Also, Kiddy Grade is in the works in having a second season.  The first season came out quite a long time ago & this announcement may be big to some Kiddy fans.  Although I felt the show wrapped up nicely, I'm pretty curious on how the second season will work out.

Updates?  Got the January 2007 stuff archived in the Past News Archive section.  Added some anime reviews as well:

Don't know what else to add at this time as I haven't really done much stuff.  Mainly focused on real life stuff at the moment.  Plus, for some reason, I need more rest.  Probably because my director at work is going us hotel staff members a hell of a time following his orders.
