Gundam Seed Destiny Stellar Loussier Action Figure

Product Information/Specifications

When big anime action figures started to come out in larger numbers, I was thinking of getting one as PVCs were starting to get old on me.  Problem with these action figures is the high price tags they carry since they are produced in very limited numbers.  I managed to find this Stellar Loussier at a ridiculously low price on YesAsia & grabbed it right away.  It was more than half the suggested Japanese retail yen price.

I didn't have Stellar out of the box.  This is mainly because I sold her away before I had the chance of opening the box.

The Review

Stellar Loussier Action Figure in box

The Stellar Loussier action figure comes in Megahouse's standard Action Figure Collection box.  It's looks presentable in one way & it's looks pretty cheap in another.  The window does give a good view of the action figure & the box protects it enough.  I believe it comes with a base & stand as well, but I can't really see in that closed box.

From what I can see from the box, Stellar is moveable at the wrist, knees, head, shoulder, & elbow.  I don't know how much they can be bent & posed.  Looking at the material, it looks a bit better than the previous Action Figure Collection ones  A bit more solid.

Stellar is made from PVC on her body & her clothing is really fabric.  I'm not sure what the boots are made from.  It looks like plastic than PVC.  The fabric looks to be of poor quality.  It's kind of like the ones you see from Barbie dolls. It looks weak & easy to rip.  Plus, the stitching job isn't too great.  You can see how poor it is as well on the cutting job of the fabric.  I'm not too sure how long it will last.

Stellar's face is pretty well done for a big figurine.  The eyes are great & the facial expression is very nice.  It met beyond my expectations.  Her hair is made of PVC, so you won't have to comb her hair to make it look good & it gives that natural anime look.  It's much easier to maintain in terms of treatment & care.

Overall Conclusion

The Stellar Loussier Action Figure is a bit better than the past figurines that I've seen from Megahouse.  A bit more sturdy & better built.  However, I can't really judge it base on appearance.  But, she does seem more sturdy than the previous ones.  I sold her away even though she's my favourite character from Gundam Seed Destiny.

If you are looking for this Stellar action figure, it's pretty hard to find now.  Chances of finding her at a extremely low price like I did will be very hard.  Even though this is a limited production product, I don't see the price going up in the collector's market due to the availability.
