It's disc mania for me this week until the end of the month. So far, I got my Ergo Proxy & Fate/stay night DVD collector boxes from the mail. I'm also expecting my Rumbling Hearts Starter Box set & some Vandread DVDs & an Ai Yori Aoshi DVD to complete my collection. Plus, I'm getting some Japanese music CDs on the way too. I also got Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light in the mail. Probably not going to play it yet since I'm planning to get The Legend of Heroes III. Plan to play that first once I get it. My credit card bill is getting pretty high now due to these crap. Also, I renewed by car insurance so it cost me a lot.
Last week, I picked up the Kotobukiya 1/2 Mahoro-san & Sportsbike PVC figurine from my local Japanese hobby shop. I got a good deal for it since the box is really wrecked up & it was the last one. I didn't really care for the box even though it pops open at the sides after I removed the tapes. It won't close properly now ever since I opened it to see if there is really die cast parts in it. To me, I don't think there is any at all. I don't know where people got that idea. Like my other stuff, I don't have room for it. I'm still in the process of clean out my closet. Most of the stuff that I got rid of are mainly small stuff at the moment like gashapons & trading figures. Haven't cleaned out the big stuff like PVC figures. I want to get rid of some PVCs to make room for new ones. Recently sold my Mega House DragonHeroines Selection Two Chrno Crusade Rosette Christopher. I did a review of it in time in the Chrno Crusade section in the Collectables section.
In anime news, Geneon not only licensed Rozen Maiden but Rozen Maiden Träumend as well. I updated my review to reflect on this change.
Other updates here? Mainly anime reviews again:
That's all for this week. I'll see if I can get any more done before the month ends.

Some big news in the anime world. VIZ Media licensed Death Note last week & is planning to distributed it in a interesting way: by downloading it from the internet as the show is currently being aired in Japan. The downloading service is unknown at the moment, but from what I read you can download it to own or rent. I don't know how the renting part works, but I assume they would be some some of registration code trick to it. Rozen Maiden got licensed by Geneon when they held a contest for people to guess what their next anime license was. It's a bit of a surprise to me to see it get licensed here, despite how popular it is. The first volume is expected to be released in April 2007.
Currently still in the process of cleaning out my collectable stuff. I'm more focused on getting anime DVDs & Japanese music CDs at this point. I'm starting to get very picky about getting anime toys & more focus on the other stuff like calendars instead. Every now & then, I plan to ask my sister to put up some of my anime stuff on sale on eBay. You can find the direct link to eBay seller listing in the Links page. Don't forget to look at my Selling page as well. Also, if you are interested in something that I have in my collectable section that I didn't put up or mention anywhere, just send me an email. I may be thinking about selling the item that you may ask about it.
Updates? Why not? I got some anime reviews up. Mainly completed ones.
Not too much, but something to keep this place going. I don't want to turn this place into a blog really. Anyways, I'll see if I can update this place more next week.

Technically, I shouldn't be here. I'm still sick, but getting a bit better. Right now, I have some chest & stomach pains due to the large amount of coughing to split out stuff from my throat. Luckily, my days off were closer this week due to a front desk agent wanting the weekend off. Using those days to recover by sleeping most of the time.
Last week, I got my Death Note 2007 desktop calendar. Not too bad, but I'm more use to the anime designs than the manga ones. Didn't think there was a major difference between the two. May want to scan it as part of my collectables section since I've done it with my other calendars. But my 2005 Tenjho Tenge didn't get put up. So, I'm thinking about this now. Plus, I don't know if I got the time to do it.
Sometime this week, I hope to get my PSP analog stick replacement part to get myself playing again. Also, to test it out to see if my PSP is gone for good or not. Chances are it's not. If you haven't heard, PSP users are now buying PS1 games like mad since the PS1 emulator is running on the PSP. People are ripping the PS1 images & converting them into eboot files to play on the road. I don't know how good it is since the screen is much smaller than a standard TV. Plus, some games have bugs on them by making them freeze or crash on the emulator. This is from the homebrew side I believe.
Not too long ago, I sold my C-Works DearS Gashapon Set so I updated that review a bit to reflect the selling. Other than that, I haven't updated anything here since I'm too focus on recovering my health.

Hope you all had a Happy New Year's party & enjoying this new year. For me, it has been hell! The analog nub of my PSP broken from the stick area. I tried to glue it back on, but the base part snapped & I finally gave up & brought a replacement part from eBay which was a bit expensive. Later, my G15 Logitech keyboard stopped working possibly due to the USB cable being broken somewhere inside the cord. Now, I'm using my old keyboard for the time being once I figure out how to fix it if it can be possible. Next, my workplace at the hotel was a headache. I was short on one housekeeper to clean the rooms for three days straight & I wasn't able to contact that person who scheduled to work since she never calls me about it. Then I get massive checkouts & phone call problems from past staying guests. It was a huge mess! What a way to start the new year!
Any of you made a New Year's Resolution? For me, I don't have anything. I never make any of that stuff. But, I do have one. However, I had that for some time now. It's basically to cut back on the amount of anime stuff; mostly figures. I plan to buy only 1/7 or larger PVC figures & no trading figures now. But, I will pay any 1/8 PVC figure if it really appeals to me. I'm out of space as it is & most likely need it for useful stuff. I'll continue watching & following anime stuff, but collecting will go down. Plus, I plan to clean out some stuff from the closet as well.
Speaking of selling, I'm selling off my collection of Newtype USA magazines. I have a lot of them & stopped collecting them since 2004. They are taking too much of my space & I figure that I should sell them away than throw them in the garbage. Some people might want certain issues to complete their collection or looking for that special article in the magazine. I got it listed in my Selling section, along with other stuff I'm getting rid of. I plan to maybe post it in the tamago toys forum as well if I got the time.
Updates. Nothing much but some finished anime reviews that I managed to catch up on:
I still got a headache on a lot of things. Amazingly enough, I had that headache when the new year started & I didn't do any drinking or partying the night before. Plus, I'm pretty angry so I should end it for the time being.
