Thank you so much for our wonderful holiday. As I said on the tour, it was our 10th wedding anniversary and I felt I was taking a bit of a risk coming to Thailand as I wanted it to be a perfect holiday for my wife. It turned out to exceed all our expectations. Thailand itself is wonderful and we are desperate to return - although not to Bangkok! The tour and the sites were great and very well planned. You struck the perfect balance between the tourist 'must sees' and allowing to feel like we had seen the real Thailand.
The biking was also great, even if I thought we were on 500s for 2 weeks! And B.J., you were the best possible guide and friend for the tour. You turned a wonderful bike tour into an unforgettable holiday and experience. You and the Grand Tour will stay in our hearts for ever. We hope that we will be able to come and visit you again soon.

Honda Custom Four - A symbol of reliability

"Bikes were excellent, ideal size for the tour. Couldn't fault anything at all, thoroughly enjoyed it." wrote TRIUMPH bike owner. We had also HARLEY, BMW and PAN-EUROPEAN riders on our tours and all agreed that bikes were a good choice for the tour.

HONDA Is a simple and reliable motorcycle - just what is needed in this part of the world. It has a single cylinder, four stroke engine with six gears and with vibration stabiliser. It has enough horses galloping to compare with Enfield Bullets. Only that these is a modern concept bike with tubeless tires, alloy wheels, front and rear disc brakes, crash bars and electric start. Fuel consumption is less than 3l/100 km (100mpg) due to E.E.C.S. - Evaporative Emission Control System. Being light and responsive, motorcycle handles well. It is very "rider friendly", therefore particularly popular among older riders and ladies. We supply half helmets and cushion for pillion, but if you are more comfortable with your own - bring them along. For more comfort, particularly if you are used to ride sports tourer at home, bring along your air or gel pad with you (different sitting position).

Accessories

We supply open face helmets , light gloves  and a cushion for pillion, but if you are more comfortable with your own - bring them along. To clean your seat, lights, visor etc cleaning material is provided.

Medieval Sukhothai temples

Each motorcycle is fitted with detachable and lockable GIVI panniers. Two side 33 liter and one 29 liter top pannier for two persons or two side 33 liter panniers for single rider, provide enough luggage space during the tour.

Your luggage

River Kwai Railway

Your suitcases and any items not needed on the tour, remain deposited in the hotel where you will spend your first and last nights. We shall assist you to parcel and post any shopping during the tour to the base hotel.

Insurance

Our motorcycles are governed by bylaws of the GENERAL INSURANCE ASSOCIATION OF THAILAND. Basic third party insurance is included. There is no other insurance coverage included or implied. For the motorcycle itself , there is CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) included in the cost of the tour. The first £500 of any claim is rider's responsibility. No deposit is taken.

I can thoroughly recommend the Grand Tour of Thailand. It was well organized, and the tour guide/manager, B.J. was excellent. It was a very relaxing holiday, and as for comments about the feint hearted, there is nothing to worry about or freak you out. Hotels were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for B.J., he is one hell of a good bloke. I also did the Mekong trip, the South and Cambodia because I was so impressed with my first holiday, and that was first class as well. B.J. has a friendly manner, and made the tour very relaxing.

Thanks again B.J. for a great trip we both really enjoyed it. It was a big surprise that everybody decided to come back for another trip. Thanks also for the photo's, there are some really nice ones in there. Ours are not back from processing yet but any good ones we'll e-mail to you. We'll be definitely back next year.

My brother and his wife are here and we are recounting tales of our trip. We cannot stop talking about it. We cannot stop talking about the trip full stop; it was magnificent, people here cannot believe that an old geezer like me did something like that. BJ tell anyone to contact me - I cannot praise your trip, yourself and the inimitable Noi enough.
