Islands Tour - South Eastern beaches |
8 days / 7 nights tour - 750 kilometres
|
This is a tour for those who are looking for a shorter ride,
sea and beaches. The golden sands lining the virgin beaches
are a sight to behold, and the swaying palm trees conceal
the tiny clusters of wood and bamboo bungalows dotting the
edge of the beach. This is East coast of Gulf of Thailand;
sand beaches, coral islands, fishermen's villages, national
parks, tropical rainforests and numerous waterfalls. We shall
start at the Jomtien Beach, ride south east and take a boat
to Ko Samet island first.
After a day on the beach we shall continue our ride East
towards Cambodian border, to Ko Chang island stopping on the
way at the dolphin training centre where you can swim with
these lovely mammals. On Ko Chang you can enjoy the beach
for two days, explore the rainforest inner part with waterfalls, or take a
local ride to the southern tip of this Thailand's second
largest island - to the tranquillity of Ban Bang Bao
fisherman village.

Day three
Starting at the Jomtien Beach
travelling south to beautiful bay of Sattahip and on
past Rayong you will come to an island, which is what Ko
Samui used to be 30 years ago. One would run out of
superlatives in describing Koh Samet, a quaint resort of
incredible serenity. Here, you can on your own, or with
your loved one turn your back on the past with a quiet
stroll on the beach, and do whatever comes naturally as
if time doesn't move at all. Eating on Koh Samet means a
feast at very reasonably priced restaurants, located
almost on the beach. During high tide, the waves lap
around your feet while your attention is torn away from
the evening meal, and your eyes are focused on a
star-studded sky
