Now that the cabinets are in, the little finish stuff starts! The wiring is now complete. In addition to a light and 120V plug on the inside of the Tear, I have installed a 120V plug, 12V plug and a TV jack at the back of the kitchen area. (TV jack is for "just in case")I searched for just the right piece of steel for the rear hatch supports. I found the diameter I wanted, but had to drill out a little on the inside of the steel to fit over the knobs on the counter top. I have hatch supports on either side of the counter.
These are the knobs the steel rear hatch supports fit over. (I have no idea of the "technical term" for these!) These are the clips that the hatch supports are stored in when the hatch is closed. I told Larry Sorenson that the first meal eaten out of the kitchen would be his Chili! Well, I lied! Linda brought down some Pizza and coke and served it out of the kitchen while we were gluing the sides! What you see is what was left ~ the trash!
I got the skin all cut and the piano hinge attached and ready to go. Now to get my nerve up to start the gluing project!
