Update #4 Teardown begins! Trouble Surfaces!

Well! I took the skin off of this little Teardrop and it looked pretty naked! What do you think? Guess what I found under it all??

Bingo! Dry Rot! Another unanticipated job begins! I started to check out all of the wood, only to find it almost everywhere. This is the left front side.

. . . .and this is the right side! Think it needs replacing?

Took this picture of the dry-rotted wood pieces that fell out of the right front. They could be brushed off with my hand! Here they rest on the garage floor.

Here is a close-up of the hinge. Now you can see how bad the rot really is!

This is the right corner after the wood was removed from the frame. You can clearly see the rot that permeates the floor of the Teardrop. It really needed to be replaced all along!
