It Ain't Cheap Restoring One of These! </head>

The Teardrop Is Home!!!

Are you as anxious to see them as Jim was? They turned out beautiful, but then they were built by a real Craftsman! This is the view from the rear. The two cabinets across the top have doors on the other side that Jim can open during the middle of the night . . . for that infamous midnight snack! The door on the bottom, under the sink is the cabinet where the water will be stored.

The fronts are not made for the two long drawers. There are several little things still to be done. That is one, and a rack across the back of the counter to hold spices, paperplates, etc., is another.

The counter space is . . . are you ready for this?? . . . . 27" deep! I wanted some space to put the propane stove and still be able to work, and what nice space I got!

Now, notice how deep those drawers are?? That's because the counter space is so deep! Not a wasted inch in this configuration!

This is a view from the door, looking into the "living" (?) space of the Tear! Notice the three doors? They are the ones that open in the "Kitchen area" as well. Two in the front, three in the interior!

This picture depicts the cabinets along the front of the trailer. These are the ones I'll be hitting my head on when I get up in the morning and forget they are there! They are deep enough for clothing, toiletries, etc.

While at Shasta Dam in April, I noticed roof vents on several of the tears, and decided I wanted one, too! Michael installed it for me, and even finished it off with matching trim in the interior. It's beautiful!

This is just a closer view of the interior doors so you can get a better view of the work Michael did. Ain't he great??

OK, I promised I'd let you see them as soon as I got them home. What do you think?
