Austin Healey 3000 drifting

An Austin Healey 3000 sliding in 1997 Edition

La Targa Florio was the last great Open Road Endurance Race. With the Mille Miglia and the 24 Heures du Mans became part of the Legend. Unfortunately the Mille Miglia were cancelled because of the 1957 accident. Then the Targa stayed the only place to see really brute cars in the road, crossing villages, going up and down the hills and thrilling the crowds. So then every May Sicily was the place to be. There one could find the best and more fierce pilots with the most powerful machines. We, A SAC!!!  (which in Spanish means flat-out) Scalextric Team, wanted to put our small contribution to the world of slot racing. So, three years ago, we made our mind up to organize a Miniature Targa Florio. Just like the real thing but in 1/32 scale.... 1995 was the year for the first Slot Targa Florio. We aim for a really enjoyable race, where anyone can run that one-off slot car that cannot be raced anywhere else. Last year was the fifth edition and this year we've just raced the sixth edition. Our target is to set this race, with the help of our sponsors and friends, as a must for the slot car racing fans, just like the real Targa was for the drivers and car enthusiasts of its time.

I'm very sorry but the Race Rules, the Race Chronicle and the Results are available only in Catalan. It takes a very precious time to translate it, and I'm not able to do it at that moment.
