Promises




Kassim: He works for the South African government. He is loyal to the line of Al de Neb. He first met Duncan in 1755 when Duncan is trying to save a poor fool who loves the princess (they are in North Africa). He made a promise with Duncan, that for letting Duncan's friend go, Duncan owed him a favor. When Duncan failed to keep his end by killing the president of Kassim's land, Kassim kidnaped Rachel MacLeod & set the barge on fire.




Methuselah's Gift


Methos, fighting for a way to save Alexa.

Amanda, feeling the true panic of being mortal while trying to save her crystal(and neck!).

The Immortal Cimoli


Damon Case: Had been around for roughly 10 centuries. He was in the crusades. He first met Duncan in 1795 in England, after he killed Jean Philippe. He killed simply for the game, but did not take death lightly. Killed by Duncan in 1996.



Danny Cimoli: He first died when hit by a bus(1996). He wanted to become a famous magician. He was slow to learn the consequences of the game, & chose 15 minutes of fame over life. When Duncan returned to tell him of Case's death, he handcuffed Duncan and attempted to take his head.His show was in Las Vegas when he was killed by an unknown immortal in 1996.

Jean Philippe de Lafae: Duncan's student in 1795. He doesn't prepare and fills his life with other 'pleasures'. He is killed by Case in 1795.

Also: Amanda, who is returning to the circus.



Through A Glass, Darkly


Andrew Donnelly: He first met Warren Cochrin in Aberdeen & became his student. He disagreed with Warren's mission. Killed by Warren in 1996.




Warren Cochrane: a.k.a. Goodage, He was born in 1485 in Helensborough, Scotland. He first died in 1513. He and Duncan fought together against the English in 1745. In 1786 they meet up again at Auberg aux Arts, Normandy to convince Prince Charley to return and fight again for Scotland. Warren refuses to see that the cause is lost.
He writes historic travel books on England & Scotland.
He develops amnesia after he kills Donnelly, his student.

Double Jeopardy




Morgan D'Estaing: First killed by his 'father' in 1803(France). He was attempting to kill the true D'Estaing son, jealous of his inheritance. He was found by Xavier, and they returned in 1806 to poison the family (this is when he first met Duncan, but only in passing). He follows Xavier's pattern and kills with gas. He attempts to revenge Xavier. He was killed by Duncan, even after poisoning Duncan with a dagger, 1997.

Till Death






Lady Angelina (Gina) : She played with Duncan & Fitz's adoration. In 1696 she planned a date with both of them at the same time. She manipulated them into going to the Chateau de Valicourt to obtain money that Robert had stollen from her, and there meets him and falls in love.
She had Duncan and Fitz give her away at her wedding(& every enactment thereafter). She saved Robert when he was taken in the French Revolution (1796).
She tries to leave Robert, but is convinced
that she loves him after a 'villainous' (& somewhat older) immortal tries to take his head.





Baron Robert De Valicourt: He gained his riches by thievery. He stole Gina's heart from Duncan & Fitz(1696). He has been married to Gina for 300 years. He lives just outside of Paris in the Chateau de Valicourt. When the fights over the wedding plans turn into talks of a divorce (he knows she's serious when she takes the vinyl records!), he and Duncan come up with a plan to remind Gina of how much she loves him.

Judgement Day


Jacob Galati: A gypsy who believed in 'blood for blood.' Duncan traveled with he and Irena in 1847. When a townsman raped Irena he stabed him and was hung for it.
In 1992 he and
Irena are hunted by Horton and his renegade watchers. They kill Irena and the quickening breaks his bonds and ties them in the fiery symbol of eternity.
After Irena's death he huntes
down the watchers, thinking that they are all like Horton. He was killed by Shapiro & Duncan received his quickening(1996).
