David Keogh: He was an indentured servant before his first death. He is a master craftsman, a woodcarver. He is easily infatuated.

"When I was born, you could buy an eight year old boy out of the orphanage for less than the price of a pig."



Shadows




Jon Garrick: He saw his family die in a vision and was therefore tried as a witch. Duncan tried to save him, but was also tried and condemed. Duncan made a quick getaway, thinking that Garrick was right behind him, but Garrick was burned at the stake(1665).
He was a
stone cutter, who had sight. He went over the edge & learned to send mental images, which he used to torture Duncan, whom he faulted for leaving him when he was burned. Killed by Duncan in 1994.



Blackmail


Peter Matlin & Lymon Kurlow: Two immortals who worked together. They framed Duncans friend for murder, & Duncan dies in his place. Killed by Duncan in 1994.



Vendetta




Benny Carbassa: A gambler & mobster wanna-be who always screws up. He first met Duncan in the Coconut lounge in 1938. In order to get out of a jam he 'rats' on Duncan to a mobster. Duncan is rather forgiving of being tossed in the ocean while handcuffed, but sends him off on a bus in the end.

May-Ling Shen: She taught Kiem Sun. Duncan met her in 1780 in Outer Mongolia. She became both Duncans teacher & lover. She was diving when killed by Christian in Hong Kong, 1994.

Michael Christian: He first died in 1975. He worked with Rita, a watcher, in order to catch immortals off guard. Killed by Duncan in 1994.
"Chopping the head off a librarian? What's the point?"

Blind Faith




Cage: a.k.a. John Kirin, Money is everything. He turned on the rebels in the Spanish civil war (1937) & leaves children in Cambodia (1975) in order to transport heroine. He then had a change of heart, studies Buddhism, sets up a soup kitchen, food bank, & a religious order. Duncan meets him and is slow to forgive (with good reason!).

Song of the Executioner






Brother Paul: A monk who built a sanctuary for mortals & immortals alike. Duncan met him in 1658 while looking for a friend. He came out of sanctuary after 300 years to sing & raise money for the order. Killed by Kalas on November 7, 1995.









Kalas: A priest & scribe who was Brother Paul's student. He loved to sing. He killed immortals as they left sanctuary, & was banished for it.
He became Antonio Neri, an opera singer in New York in 1919. He was singing in Paris in 1920 when he again met Duncan. He tried to kill Maria Compollo to get to Duncan, but Duncan arrived and a fight insued. He lost his voice when Duncan slashed his throat with glass.
In August of 1993 he became the proprietor of Nosferatu, a jazz club. He finally got Paul out of sanctuary and killed him. He then set up Joe for drug possession and killed two of Ann's patients. He fought Duncan, having arranged for Ann to arrive. Duncan falls to his 'death' in front of Anne and leaves for Paris. Once there Kallas destroys Fitszairn's life and kills him as well.

He discovered the watchers & tried to use them to find Methos. He was imprisoned for killing two watchers, but escaped with Amanda's 'help.' He found the Watcher disk & threatened to send it to all news agencies if Duncan took his head. He killed western-Europe's coordinator, two watchers, a watchers' wife, a newspaper editor, and a thug. Killed by Duncan in 1995.

(after killing the thug) "Nino, fetch me another. This one's broken."

Timon: An immortal who took refuge with Brother Paul. He taught Duncan to read. Killed by Kalas in 1658.
