The Beast Below

Ursa: A cave dweller who loves music & beauty. He was a gardener at the Gobert Starman (monastery) until it was destroyed in the French Revolution. He then lived in the catacombs until 1992 when Duncan found him and he moved to the rebuilt abbey. He had fallen in love with the sounds of the opera and a singer who was practicing there.

Saving Grace

Carlo Sendaro: A lover with Grace for a century (starting in 1840). He owned plantations in the Amazon. He is highly jealous and once something was his he never gives it up, including Grace. Beheaded by a train during a fight with Duncan in 1992.

Grace Chandel: An immortal who has been studying medicine for about 300 years. A friend & past lover of Duncans, they met when she was a midwife. She married Paul Warren, a mortal who was killed by Carlos.

"May the winds be with you."(the parting words Duncan always tells her)

Also: Darius-giving Grace refuge, and rewarded with a kiss. (see "Band of Brothers", Season One)

The Lady and the Tiger

Zachary Blaine: A thief who worked with Amanda, and was as skilled as she at their trade. She framed him for her own murder. He served time and then broke out of jail and went looking for her. Killed by Amanda after Duncan fought him in 1993.

(also-if you've seen the movie Armageddon, the actor plays the smart scientist tells the president that the asteroid must be destroyed from within, I'm including this as it drove me insane until I realized who he was)

Amanda appears for the first time.

The Eye of the Beholder

Gabriel Piton: He was approximately 300 years old. A fashion designer, who lived & killed for beauty. He was a friend of Duncans, but unfortunately Richie happened upon what he was up to. Killed by Duncan in 1993.

Avenging Angel

Alfred Cahill: Frenchman who was beaten by his step-father, who he killed. He was discharged from the French armed forces as he did not pass psychological screening. He was first killed by a whore & came to believe that he was on a mission to purge the world of sinners. He believed he was Jack de Molay reborn(leader of the Tempests a fanatical order). He began slaying whores and their customers, and approached Tessa in his search for Duncan(who he first believed was the angel Gabriel, then a worker of Satan). Killed by Duncan in 1993.

Nowhere to Run

Col. Bellian: An immortal who cares for his wife's daughter after her death. He tries to kill the man that rapes his daughter.

The Hunters

Hugh Fitzcairn: He first met Duncan in 1637, while undermining Duncan's job to protect the Doge's daughter. Although he was English, they became good friends & traveled together. He & Duncan later competed for the attention of Gina, & both of them gave her away at her wedding. In 1929 he was poisoned by his wife, and lost everything in the Stock Market Crash. He was caught by the hunters after he & Duncan found Darius. He lived for love, & had a job teaching cooking in Paris. He loved his pipe. Killed by Kalas in 1995.
