We first learn about Joe

Studies in Light

Greg Powers: A doctor during the cholera epidemic of 1883. Duncan takes him from a town after a father shoots Gregor out of grief. He later becomes a photographer. After seeing so much death, he loses the ability to feel anything but pain. His pictures are all dark, and as he finds he can't deal with life he destroys them. He and Richie ride motorcycles over a dock, and Richie is hurt. He finally fights Duncan, and subdues to death. It is then that Duncan asks him what he feels, and he responds in a whispered voice with "Pain."

Turnabout

Michael Moore: An immortal who worked at mental hospital in 1920. He had a dual personality./Quenten Barnes: executed in 1961 for murdering 2 women. He came back in 1993 & killed all involved in the trial. Killed by Duncan in 1993.

The Darkness

Tessa is killed and
Richie becomes an immortal.

An Eye for An Eye

Annie Devlin: She is an Irish freedom fighter. She loses two mortal husbands to the cause, Keri (1919) & Tommy(1993). She is an old friend of Duncans, and they both search to loose their hurt and pain from loss in a night together at the lighthouse. She comes after Richie as he killed Tommy, and looses. Richie spares her, 1993.

The Return of Amanda

Amanda returns after hearing of Tessa's death. She is trying to sell some conterfeit plates, but runs into trouble (and kindly brings Duncan along).
