RULES OF THE GUILD
You are strolling down one of the many corridors in the guild building, when suddenly a trainee assassin sprints passed, followed by an armoury overseer, who shouts: "If I see you using guns again, I will personally take the time to shove them right up your...." He disappears out of earshot. You hear a snigger behind you, and as you turn around you see a master assassin holding some sort of charter. "Read this son - you don't want to end up like him!"
1. The entire Filigree Street, Frost Alley and Flood Walk is in bounds, as is the area around the Patrician's Palace. All other areas of the city are out of bounds without permission
2. Pupils are forbidden to enter any Theatre, Hotel, Public House or any other public place of entertainment without permission,
3. Pupils are forbidden from mentioning fruit within the hearing of the matron.
4. Pupils are forbidden from enterting shops or any house of disrepute,
5. Pupils are forbidden from teasing Mr. Lamister
6. Pupils may not possess any explosives or fireworks of any kind
7. Pupils may not walk around the Guild or the city without their hands in their pockets
8. No running in the corridors.
9. Pupils may not use Mr. Lamister's door as a target.
10. No boys are allowed to have their hair longer than shoulder length.
11. Pupils can carve their names on desks and the roof, but NOT on Mr. Lamister's leg.
12. Crocodiles, lizards, large amphibious reptiles or anything else of that nature may not be kept in pupils' rooms.
13. Boys must at all times have two stiletto daggers and a sword on them at all times except for in bed.
13a. Girls must keep at least two stiletto daggers and three concelaed weapons on them at all times except for in bed.
14. Miss Band's exploding bustle has been stricty outlawed by the Guild Council anywhere within 500 miles of Ankh-Morpork.
15. No pupil is to attempt to assassinate any other pupil during morning prayers.
16. No boy is to enter the room of any girl, and vice-versa.
17. Pupils must be found lurking behind the stables at least once a term.
18. No boy may grow a moustache until he is in the 6th form.
18a. Neither may any girl.
19. No pupil is to try and walk like Mr. Lamister.
20. Use of guns, bombs e.t.c. while working is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.
