Patchwork Skirts

Purple and Black Pinwheel Skirt More of a fall to winter skirt this time done in various shades of purples and blacks. Cut in an A-line shape. There is a purple and white pinwheel on the front center pannel, which is made of recycled fabric. The applique is heat-bonded and tightly satin stiched, with the threads pulled to the back and knotted. Two vintage pannels in a knit polyester of purple and white circles. Two flannel pannels of solid light purple. Two pannels of black with a dark grey vine-like pattern. Two pannels of a purple flannel with dark purple flowers and white flower vines with green centers. Back center pannel is white/black/purple patchwork. 10 pannels total. The fabrics are hard to describe, so please check out the lager pic or ask for more. Waistband is the purple flower flannel. All fabrics are new cotton except the recycled black and vintage polyester. Drawstring waist with a hand-crocheted green and white drawstring, so it can cinch down as far as you need. Drawstring ends with 4 wooden beads on each side. All raw edges are zigzagged to combat fraying and seams are reinforced where needed. This item is unhemmed and will be hemmed for buyer. Can be shortened a max of 3ins. The back is longer than the front so that when you walk down stairs the skirt will trail behind you. (I love that!) All measurements taken with item laying flat. Pink/Purple Flowers and Stars This bright skirt perfect for fall. Cut in an A-line shape. There are three heavier flannel pannels and the thinner pink pannel has been lined for warmth. (Nine pannels total.) The front pannel features an applique of three circles from matching fabrics. Fabrics are new, vintage, and recycled; made from cotton, polyester, and a combination thereof. New fabrics are 2 soft thick flannels: one with flowers, one with purple and pink stars; blue cotton and a pink cotton. Vintage fabrics are 2 different knit prints featuring flowers: one pink, one purple. Recycled fabric is the front tan pannel. The waistband is made from a different new pink fabric. Features a drawstring waist with hand-crocheted drawstring. All raw edges are zigzagged to combat fraying and seams are reinforced where needed. This item is unhemmed and will be hemmed for buyer.
