Poet's Corner "Se Necesita Un Milagro" (2:29)

Stillness of the pale sky
A barrier to the balmy night.
Still sky, but not around
The domicile of the disaffected.
With the myriad of colors and sounds
Continually emanating from the black box
Not a noise to be heard
From the parasite
Soon to leave its ailing host

Incapable of feeling
All save the most base
Of the myriad if emotion
Life is a banal experience

A brief opening of the floodgates
By a master craftsperson
Is a moot action
The gates has inexorably rusted together
Time will only show if a universal solvent
Will open the pulsating walls once again

The journey of the parasite,
A exodus to a place where it is not
Despised by all familiar
Sure to have the same reaction
Once the general populace realizes
the inherent danger.

But even with a suitable host approached
The parasite?s existence is jeopardized
All the beneficial effects of the parasite
Will be forgone for the commonly held Ideal
Of the malignancy of this organism

All precautions are taken
All bases covered, as the cliched phrase
Proclaims proudly on the purveyor of printed news
In a harried pace of beneficiality
The parasite makes up for lost time
But to no avail

The parasite perishes
Much before the expectancy of life
Dictated by various experts in the field
Its accomplishments unknown to the vast masses
What could be said for this passing?
Another cliched phrase explains this well:
?The parasite that burns twice as fast,
burns half as long."
