Too much fire.  Tonight was the wrong night to be up against North.  They were on fire and we couldn't figure out how to put it out.  We traveled to Sioux City again tonight to take on North for the Sub State Championship and the opportunity to advance to state.  We had a good practice on Wednesday, two great games to get here, and we were feeling pretty good about ourselves and our chances to win this one.  They come out right on the attack and we tell the guys if we can survive the first ten minutes we are in this game.  We survived the first ten minutes and they were hitting us hard from the beginning.  THen 18 minutes in they score the first goal of the game.  We pull back together and manage to make it to the half down 1-0.  We change up our plan at the half and move a few people around to make a move to go after them.  Oops, 55 seconds in the second half they play a perfect ball to the out side and we don't mark up on their forward.  He rolls around and puts it away for a 2-0 lead.  It's what we call putting them away.  Were still in it this at this point if we can mount an attack and put one away.  They did a good job shutting down Pablo Navarette and Luke Thompson on top tonight.  They both played well but could never get close.  They score two more, and now we are looking to survive.  The season is over, but not without a bang.  We are very proud of these guys for getting to the Championship game and putting a little polish on a tough season.  I want to say Thank You for the past four years to our Seniors, you will all be missed.  Dan Black, Joe Landolt, Scott Versch, and Zach Paulson.  Also one must say Thank You to our Senior and 4 year letter Manager, Brandi Belt.  Thank you all for being with us, staying with the program, and giving us what you got.  Good Luck.  Also want to say Thank You to the parents and fans that supported us this year, in good times and in bad.  Your support means a lot to the team and the program.  Thank you
