Tonight was Senior Night and we recognized 7 Seniors for 4 years of hard work and dedication to the Titan Soccer program.  They were Dan Black, Joe Landolt, Eric Hayes, Keith Goetz, Zach Paulson, and Scott Vesch.  Our seventh Senior is Brandi Belt our Manager.  Brandi has been manager for four years, we will miss her.  To the six Senior players, we appreciate your hard work and effort that you have given to the program, we will miss you as well, good luck to you as you step out into the world.  We finish off the regular season on the road playing all city teams.  Tomorrow we travel to the city fields to play AL.  Starts with JV at 4:30pm.  We gotta find a way.

JV looked around tonight and looked for a way to let Harlan hang around and almost got caught like Varsity did but John Kocourek found a way to finish it up and make a solid win for the home team.  We looked a little flat in the first half.  We scored first 16 minutes into the game when Keith Goetz finds himself one on one with the keeper.  Keith puts it through him and we are up 1-0.  The second half they tie it up early into the half when we are called for a foul and get caught setting up the wall.  They set the ball take the hit, our wall is out of position and the ball hooks around the wall and lands square in the left corner.  Tie ball game.  From there John Kocourek steps up and takes charge of the game.  John hits two goals within two minutes of each other and it is enough to get up through the game.  Everyone got in tonight, that is the difference goals make.  When you score, it changes the game.  JV has two games left in the season.  It is hard to believe that the end is just around the corner.
