Powers: Thunderstrike has the powers his father, the orginal Thunderstrike had. This includes super-strength and the ability to shoot small power blasts from his hands. He can use the blasts to propel himself into the air, literally leaping over several blocks in a single bound. Thunderstrike also transform from a normal human, into the god-like form saying the word "Thunderstrike". Also, Thunderstrike's powers come from within him, not through the Thunderstrike mace.

Origin: On his eigthteenth birthday, Kevin arrived at the Avengers Mansion to receive a gift from Edwin Jarvis, the caretaker and former butler of the Avengers. The gift turns out to be the Thunderstrike mace, the weapon Kevin's father used to battle evil until he was killed. However, Kevin is attacked by Asgardian trolls and is whisked away to Asgard by Loki, the trickster god. There, when Loki tries to corrupt the mace's power, Kevin, powerless and totally human, leaps into the fray, freeing the mace's power. However, the mace is suddenly pulled into him, transforming Kevin into the new Thunderstrike!

History: Soon after, Thunderstrike joins the new Avengers, alongside Stinger, Mainframe, and J2. The team confronts several enemies, and adds more members. The Avengers are slowly becoming a real team. Thunderstrike, for the first time in his life, begins to feel fulfilled, especially in following in the footstep's of his beloved father.
Thunderstrike meets up with his childhood friend Maria Sapristi, and the two visit a fair. However, the fair is interrupted by the rascist Sons of the Serpent, and Kevin is forced to reveal his idtentity as Thunderstrike to Maria. After the battle, Maria and Kevin confess some feelings for each other, and they agree to start dating.
However, Thunderstrike's life would soon change forever. Entering the portal where the orginal Avengers entered and never returned, the newest generation of Avengers find themselves in a world ruled by evil, Dr. Doom and his cosmic cube.
In this strange dimension, Thunderstrike finds his father fighting alongside the evil beings, and he learns the his father defected to the other side, when Kevin's alternate was killed. Also, Kevin meets this world's Maria, and finds her to be a soldier in Captain America's (the real Cap from our world) army.
Thunderstrike is forced to fight his father, but when his father realizes his not fighting his alternate self, but in fact, his alternate son, the fight is over. Kevin's father surrenders and returns with the Avengers to Cap's hideout. However, Maria's alternate sacrifices her life to make sure that Thunderstrike and his father survive.
When the time comes, Thunderstrike decides to leave the Avengers and remain in the alternate dimension with his father. Along though that may not really be his father, it is close enough. Thunderstrike has yet to return from the alternate dimension.

1
