| Alkhema - none - a synthezoid, with various weapon and defense systems - Alkhema was created by Ultron from the deceased Mockingbird's brain patterns. Alkhema turned against Ultron and then, the Avengers. She is completely mad, obessed with world-domination and the destruction of Ultron. | ||
| American Dream (Shannon Carter) - A-Next - a human, with training in several fighting disciplines - The daughter of Sharon Carter, she was inspired by Captain American's heroism to became American Dream after her mother's death. Joining A-Next, the future Avengers, she became an instant sucess. She is currently a part of that team. | ||
| Apocalypse (En Sabah Nur) - none - growth, morphing, and regenerative powers - A mutant that has lived since ancient Egypt, Apocalypse stands for the survival of the fittest, and survive he has, despite being killed several times! His current whereabouts are unknown, after recently being merged and seperated with the X-Man Cyclops. | ||
| Archangel (Warren Worthington III) - X-Men, Defenders, Champions - has wings of flight - A founding X-Man, Archangel was orginally Angel, but he was transformed by Apocalypse into Archangel. Archangel recently broke up with his paramour Psylocke, but has remained as an active X-Man. | ||

| Banshee (Sean Cassidy) - X-Men, Generation X - sonic screams & flight - Banshee was one of the second generation of X-Men. He retired with his love, Dr. Mactaggert, but later, returned to teach the newest generation of X-Men, Gen X. Gen X has disbanded, and Banshee has not returned to active duty. | ||
| Beast (Dr. Hank McCoy) - X-Men, Avengers, Defenders - enhanced strength, agility, & speed - Beast was a founding X-Man. Later, after an experiment went wrong, Beast gained his blue fur and joined the Avengers, and later, the Defenders. Today, he remains fighting alongside the X-Men. | ||

| Black Panther (T'Challa) - Avengers - enchanced speed, sense, & agility - The King of Wakanda, the Black Panther ate the heart-shaped fruit during his youth, which gave him his powers. He is a great fighter, and has often aided the mighty Avengers. He is currently residing over his homeland. | ||
| Black Widow (Natasha Romanova) - Avengers, Champions, Marvel Knights - human, with spy training & skills - Once a Russian spy, the Black Widow defected and joined the Avengers. She fell in and out of love with Daredevil, and even led the Avengers for a time. Currently, she is aiding the Avengers as a reserve member and helping Daredevil with a team of heroes called the Marvel Knights. | ||
| Blink (Clarice Ferguson) - X-Men, Exiles - able to teleport and spatial dislocate matter - This universe's Blink sacrificed herself to save the future members of Gen X from the Phalanx. She has also been seen in the Age of Apocaplyse. and as leader of the dimension-hopping Exiles. | ||
| Blob (Fred Dukes) - Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Freedom Force - immovable and super-strong - The Blob has been a member of the Brotherhood through all its incarnations and leader-changes. He is a man out only for himself and will stop at nothing to end the X-Men's dreams of peace. He was must recently seen as a member of Mystique's Brotherhood. | ||
| Bloodstrike - Folding Circle - super-strength - A man born of a mystic pact, which gave him powers, Bloodstrike was suppose to sacrifice his life to give greater power to an insane old woman. Instead, he ran away and has not been seen since. | ||
| Bloodstorm (Ororo Munroe) - The Six, X-Men - able to control the weather, transform in mist, vampire - A Storm from an alternate dimension, this universe's Havok met her in the Mutant X reality. She was bitten by Dracula, and never recovered. She remains in the alternate universe, hoping to save it from destruction. | ||
| Bluestreak - A-Next - super-speed - With the power to run at super-speed, Bluestreak left behind the Uncanny X-People to join the Avengers of the future. While her true identity is not known, Bluestreak's heroism speaks for itself. She remains with A-Next. | ||
| Bolt (Chris Bradley) - New Warriors - able to generate sparks of electrocity - Bolt was a mutant infected by the deadly Legacy VIrus. Prompted by meeting the X-Men, Bolt traveled to New York with his girlfriend Donna Funaro and joined the New Warriors. The Legacy Virus was recently cured, and Bolt was last seen with the Warriors. | ||
| Bulldozer - Wrecking Crew, Masters of Evil - uses helmet to ram into things - A member of the Wrecking Crew, Bulldozer has fought the Avengers more times than anyone can count. He and his teammates were more recently seen fighting for Imperion City. | ||
| Cable (Nathan Summers) - X-Men, X-Force, New Mutants - telepathy and telekinectics - Transforming the New Mutants into the militant X-Force, Cable was hoping prevent the hopeless future where he came from would never come to pass. Knowing X-Force had outgrown him, he left, and learned his true heritage, as the son of Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor. Cable joined and left the X-Men, striking out a path of his own, hoping to help the world in his own way. | ||
| Cannonball (Sam Guthrie) - X-Force, X-Men, New Mutants - able to generate a field that propels him into the air - Once the leader of the New Mutants, Cannonball grew up to lead X-Force. He joined the X-Men for a time, but decided to return to X-Force to be around his friends. Today, Cannonball's whereabouts are unknown, after X-Force was appearantly killed in an explosion. | ||

Found by the Avengers, he became their most prominent hero, leading the team for much of its history. She, however, was still serving Magneto in Genosha when the Sentinels struck, and whereabouts have not confirmed. | ||
| Cerebro - none - a robotic construct with mutant-detection capabilities - Cerebro was Professor X's invention, a psychic-amplifier that sought out new mutants. After the Professor was engulfed by Onslaughter, and later imprisoned, Cerebro gained sentinence, seeking out to replace his old master. The X-Men stopped him, and Cerebro has since been dismantled. | ||
| Chamber (Jonothon Starsmore) - X-Men, Generation X - able to generate psychic blasts of energy and talk telepathically - Chamber was Gen X's first recruit and remained with the team for its duration. He and Husk fell in and out of love, and when Gen X disbanded, Chamber eventually found himself alongside the X-Men, continually the fight for world peace. | ||

| Cloak (Tyrone Johnson) - none - his cloak generates a passageway to another dimension, where his victims are traumatized by the lack of light, can teleport - Cloak is Dagger's partner, his darkness kept under control only by her light. Together, they fight to rid the streets of drug-pushers and the innocent children are trapped by them. Recently, Cloak lost his powers and now resides, along with Dagger, in the Black Widow's apartment in New York. | ||
| Colossus (Piotr Rasputin) - X-Men, Excalibur, Acolytes - can turn his skin into organic steel - Colossus was one of the second generation of X-Men. He remained there until the death of sister, Illyana. Disillusioned, he joined the evil Acolytes, but then returned to the heroic Excalibur. He later rejoined the X-Men, but he too would soon die, sacrificing his life to save the victims of the Legacy VIrus. | ||

Rescued by the New Mutants, Corsi remained at the X-Men mansion and helped to teach the Muties. He later went to help with Dr. Mactaggert's research and then came to Massachusetts to teach Gen X. | ||
| Fabian Cortez - Acolytes, Upstarts - can amplify the powers of other mutants - Cortez was the first Acolyte, using his powers to heal the weakened Magneto. Later, it was revealed he was an Upstart, a player in a game to kill the members of the X-Men network. Cortez was an evil man, and after Magneto's power was restored, he know no longer needed him. Magneto promptly killed him. | ||
| Crimson Curse (Aerika Harkness) - A-Next - can manipulate nature with magic - A member of the future Avengers, Aerika's origins were never actually stated. Her appearance suggests a connection to the Scarlet Witch, but her name implies a relationship to Agatha Harkness, a witch. Before that mystery was solved, Aerika heroically sacrificed herself to save an alternate world. | ||
| Cyclops (Scott Summers) - X-Men, X-Factor - can shoot optic blasts - The first X-Man, Cyclops has been married twice, once to Madelyne Pryor, which gave him the child who would grow up to be Cable, and later, Jean Grey, his one true love. | Dagger (Tandy Bowen) - Marvel Knights - can generate daggers of light - Cloak's partner, Dagger serves to rid the streets of violence. Dagger recently absorbed her partner's darkness, freeing him, but without her knowledge, placing Dagger in danger. Joining a small band of heroes, she now resides with Cloak at the Black Widow's apartment. | ||
| Daredevil (Matt Murdock) - Marvel Knights - has super-sense, minus sight, for which he uses radar vision - Blinded as a child by a chemical, Daredevil's other senses granted him the ability to perceive what others can not. He has had a long career fighting criminals, most notably the Kingpin. He has lost several loves, including Elektra and Karen Page. Most recently, he has teamed with the Black Widow and others to form a band of heroes fighting for justice. | ||
| Darkhawk (Chris Powell) - Avengers, New Warriors - powered by a mystic amulet and a suit of armor - Powered by the amulet encrested on his armor, Darkhark has fought evil solo, as a Warrior, and later, as an Avenger. Darkhawk has been seen lately, the last time being when the current incarnation of Avengers was formed. | ||
| Dazzler (Alison Blaire) - X-Men - can transform sound into light - She was orginally a singer, using her mutant powers to create a light show on stage. After the public found out she was a mutant, she was blacklisted and found her way into the ranks of the X-Men. She remained with them, and fell in love with her teammate Longshot. The two are now together in his homeworld, Mojoworld, fighting the oppressive government. | ||
