| Attack of the Clowns Episode 1: The Alliance |
| Attack of the Clowns is the first series made by SGF that was intended from the very beginning to be a trilogy. Attack of the Clowns Episode 1: The Alliance kicks that trilogy off to a wonderful start. This is the 9th complete movie made by SGF, and a dazzling thriller to all who see it. The Alliance is an hour long and very complicated, so it will be told here in a very brief summary. In this film many previous and new SGF characters are united in a battle for the galaxy. The Clown, the same one who protected the Ewoks in The Battle, went berserk after "the accident (he couldn't get to the bathroom in time). At the beginning of the movie The Clown takes over the planet Endor. Throughout the entire film he takes over several planets, including The Plastic World and Coruscant. Darth Vader and the Emperor are still stranded on The Island, a pickup from where The Island II left off. Vader and his team of stormtroopers search for the Emperor and are hunted by a Utah Raptor. Vader eventually finds his Emperor and they escape The Island on a Pteranodon's back. Meanwhile Dev and Lob, two goofy stormtroopers with British accents, find The Dinosaur Hunter and the other members of his team from The Island II. Their plane crashed and they froze in space. Dev and Lob take them to the Imperial Outpost on Fest and thaw them out, and then imprison them. During this long but humorous scene we meet 2-1D, a medical droid who has gone crazy ever since he lost his leg. The Rebel Alliance begins to form around this time and they decide to attack a small Imperial Outpost on Fest. Around this time we meet Fred, a boy who likes to fly and has his eyes on a young girl named Podme. Admiral Ackbar gets an idea from Fred: the Alliance will attack the small outpost twice! The Rebels arrive on Fest and catch the Imperials off guard. Their is a large and entertaining battle that excersises many new SGF action techniques such as laser bolts and explosions, seen in the earlier brief Army Men battle in The Plastic World, just before The Clown takes it over. The Rebels rescue the prisoners on Fest, including the Dinosaur Hunter and his team, who decide to join the Rebel Alliance. Dev and Lob borrow the Rebels' ship and leave Fest before they are captured. Now James Wampa, last seen in Pinkeye, is sent on a mission to rescue as many Army Men as he can from the Plastic World. He goes to Q-Lab and gets his latest vehicle, the Glider. Wampa uses this to fly to the Plastic World. Some friendly Army Men point him in the direction of the Clown's Palace, which he soon finds out is run by Blobba the Hutt. Wampa infiltrates the Palace and ends up defeating all of Blobba's henchmen and messing up the Hutt's Palace. The Hutt sends a Clown Warrior to kill 00Wampa, but James kills the beast in an extremely thrilling fight. Blobba offers Wampa a large ship if he leaves, so he does. Wampa gets the Army Men and returns to R-I6. He is soon sent to guard the Meeting Building on Coruscant. Inside the building many important galactic figures meet and decide to form an alliance against the Clown, just before the Clown destroys the building, kills the important people, and takes over Coruscant. The announcers from The Race see this. Yoda leaves the audience with one last remark: "Begun this Clown War has. . ." AOTC Episode 1: The Alliance is one of the best SGF films ever made, and a wonderful beginning to an awesome story. |
